Sightings, Interactions in Ahmedabad; the ride to Delhi

Sightings, Interactions in Ahmedabad; the ride to Delhi

The cool breeze that i came across in Dwarkadish when i visited Deva bhai tea centre opposite Radha Parotha House at five in the morning on a Saturday is something that remains etched in my memory. A word of praise for Mr Harsukh Bhai and Geeta Ben whom i met while taking an auto ride to Dwarka railway station from a road which is not Nageshwar Road but a one which is not normally taken by vehicles. More people should visit their shop as it would bring smile on their face.
As for the stay in Ahmedabad spread over four to five days it saw me interacting with people, students from different background. Apart from visiting Camp Hanuman Temple it were innumerable rides to different places that saw me hail an auto here and there thereby helping me to get to know the names of automen and reigning harmony among different communities. A word of praise for Kalapi Restaurant which served fresh delicacies.

The train ride from Ahmedabad to Delhi Cantt Station

On a Wednesday left Hotel Mukam to catch Ahmedabad Rajdhani which is supposed to depart from PF 10. In Himachal Govt. Undertaking Pure Apple Juice which is opposite Honest Restaurant, the man at Pure apple juice outlet is very arrogant. When i asked for paper glass he brushed aside my request which eventually he handed me after displaying a tantrum or two. It is porter Mr Rakesh bhai  who takes my luggage to platform 10. Announcements are being made for different trains.
Agra Fort Super Fast to depart at 4.55 from P F 10, Ahmedabad Abu Road Ahmedabad, Ahmedabad Patan Ahmedabad train comes on PF 7. Ahmedabad Rajdhani leaves at 5.42. Gains traction. Surroundings are clean. Sabarmati comes at 5.57. Mehsana 6.52 leaves at 6.56. In the train meet a man from ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) posted in Ahmedabad. What i could gather from the conversation was ISRO has 16 centres in India. While GSLV goes right up to 36,000 km, PSLV goes up to 500 km. The ISRO man is travelling with his father and they are headed towards Himachal Pradesh State.

There is another man from Adidas company going to Gurgaon. He is Mr Prakash bhai from Mt Abu posted in Ahmedabad. According to Mr Prakash bhai in Mt Abu construction has been banned for the past five to six years. Earlier people from Mumbai and other places purchased land and built farm houses and that really played havoc with environment and surroundings of the area. Besides Brahmakumari, the institution, which has acres of land at its disposal, led to conflict with local people.

Chhapi comes at 7.35, Palampur 7.45, Mt Abu 8.55 pm. The next morning meet Mr Ashish Ranjan Sharma studying in Vishwakarma Govt. Engineering College in Gujarat. I differ with him when he says that the people from North India would find it difficult to settle in South India and for them the best locales for studying would be in places like Gujarat. Perhaps he has not been to South where the warm embrace greets one and the conversation is eclectic to say the least. Gurgaon comes at 6.30 am. There is a message on cleanliness.  The train reaches Delhi Cantt station at 6.55 am and it is automan Mr Anil who takes me to Safdarjung Enclave.

It was a good stay in Gujarat with enough memories about the people of the state who were good at heart. Visiting Somnath, Dwarkadish, Okha, Nageshwar, Byet Dwarka and Ahmedabad in Gujarat State saw me people of varied culture/religion in best mood and grade.

The ride from Dwarka (Gujarat) to Ahmedabad (Gujarat) some months ago

Some months ago i was in Gujarat State. Having stayed in Dwarka for four to five days, it was time to leave for Ahmedabad. In Dwarkadish temple meet priest Mr Rau whom i tell i will keep him in my prayers. Soon after visiting Dwarkadish temple leave for Dwarka railway station not from Nageshwar road but from a road which is less taken by vehicles. While taking a ride to station meet Harsukh bhai and Geeta ben who give me a pen from their shop. It is time more people flock to their shop as the shop is located on a road which is not used by vehicles. This road should be made mandatory for vehicles meant towards station.  As more people would visit Harsukh bhai and Geeta ben's shop this would bring smile on their face. My best wishes to Harsukh bhai and Geeta ben. Kanhaiya bhai is the automan who drops me at the station.

Corbyn calling for fresh polls in Britain to presser on Delhi's safety claim

Corbyn calling for fresh polls in Britain to presser on Delhi's safety claim

Britain's Opposition leader Corbyn has called for polls to end the Brexit impasse and be able to chase the imposing goals. PM Theresa May is still the best bet for UK and still a yes vote on Brexit deal in Parliament could be OK. UK is supposed to leave EU by March 29 something that looks to be fine. British Parliament need to approve Brexit deal before that as it will bring in a measure of stability without any crack. On another firmament the ruling party BJP in New Delhi is holding a two day meet to discuss the poll strategy and which all parties it would like to sit and greet. At the heart of discussion would be how to win back its traditional support base at a time when Cong managers seem keen to tie their lace.

After the presser on National Capital of Delhi's Safety Valve, more people began to cringe and call. Figures were out on crime and crisis unfolding in the national capital, showing a dip here and a rise there thereby suggesting the National Capital in the grip of fear which was not rare. This fear was not new and not noteworthy as it had been raised by those who had in the past worked in train pantry and went by the names of Bablu and Bunty. Rise in crime and tendency to commit crime in Delhi  were attributed to migrants and materialism, the need to become overnight cash lords was something that needed to be looked through a different prism. This presser on National Capital Crime Scene is held every year with the onset of cold and warriors in tear.

As for women and insecure surroundings they were in, from work stations to working partners all seem to be unsafe and at odd intervals chipping in. To make women safe, boys and men need to be told during their advancing age that giving respect to womenfolk would earn them handsome dividends and cake. Respect and reservoir of support for women could have a new spin if from gyms to offices to residential places they shy away from taking a drink and later cringe.

Women including migrants would feel more safe if night shift is not handed to them on a platter and they don't have to sleep out in the open against people who are not part of their known cadre. Attributing the rise in crime to migrants not getting wise, the floating population and floating hope occasionally rocked the safety boat.

The other story is on Ex PM of UK Tony Blair who was in town (New Delhi)  to make us believe he is here to provide the soothing touch and care. Away from Britain landing in a capital of claim, Tony's words don't mean much and his advice at home make some grudge. Giving so much coverage to Tony's itinerary and views can't be forgiven without giving an excuse.

The CSO (Central Statistics Office) has given an estimate for India's GDP to grow at 7.2 per cent this fiscal, a target that should not worry the govt of the day to tackle. With Quota Bill passed by Indian Parliament the focus has shifted to President and his time to give assent. The Quota Bill provides for 10 per cent reservation for people coming under Economically Weaker Sections and with this move the ruling party wants to seal the fate of opposition which wants a one more chance to cruise.

Mr Shekhar Gupta's piece on Hampi and how modern day invaders have burnt holes to the World Heritage Site showed the urgent need to increase the budget meant for its upkeep. From Tungabhadra river to Virupaksha temple Mr Gupta essayed a thought or two on them and if immediate measures are set in Hampi could still be a tourist gem.

Away in North America in Capitol Hill the President stormed out of a meeting with Democrats over the issue of funding a border wall. With his temper running high, it was appropriate for the President to take a flight and fly. The Government Shutdown having entered the fourth week with picture by no means looking rosy and mirroring bleak. The Govt Shutdown has literally meant shutdown of economy and this often reminds one of the path that would have been taken by Mr Mitt Romney to break the shackles and get the govt on a long journey.

To chase 288 was a tall order and to get past that total it needed a stable innings and a sturdy ladder. Much has been made of a test series win as if it will make followers of cricket game for decades grin. These one dayers can well make them cringe and can well take away the mantle of a King.

Listening to Vishnu Sahasranamam, Visiting Kashmere Gate, New Delhi Railway Station

Listening to Vishnu Sahasranamam by M S Subbulakshmi
and Kanda Sashti Kavacham / Murugan, Visiting Kashmere Gate, New Delhi Railway Station

As i listen to Vishnu Sahasranamam by M S Subbulakshmi, i am reminded about my stay in Tirumala at different point of time. It is time to write about interactions in the National Capital of Delhi in recent days when there is smart phone phobia and craze. Meet Mr Hira Singh automan dropping me at INA metro station, meet automan Mr Shami who is very much part of the nation. Meet Mr Azad rickshawman who drops me at Marghat Wale Baba Hanuman Temple Old Delhi. Meet Mr Raju rickshawman dropping me at Kashmere Gate metro station in Old Delhi which has enough eateries to fill the belly.

Meet Neil and Jintu or Jitu hailing from Assam who spoke about Brahmaputra Mail train which gets inordinately delayed and keeps the passengers in queue and wait. While taking Airport Express line meet Mr Santosh from Andhra, Mr Mokal Chandy working in Indian Army posted in Meerut in Uttar Pradesh, a State that borrows more and has had fewer ace.  Meet Mr Praveen at T1D of Delhi Airport which is nowhere near court. Meet Mr Vamsi from Cuddapah Andhra Pradesh and on New Year Day meet Mr Bhola Mahto, Mr Jagdish, Mr Shiv Kumar and Mr Jai Singh in Hanuman Temple Connaught Place which has its own set of pace. Meet automan Mr Gandhi Choudhary dropping me at Sarojini Nagar, Mr Mukesh fruit vendor at Sarojini Nagar a place that has extensive cover. Meet automan Mr Vijay Kumar from Rajasthan who drops me at Safdarjung Enclave which has among its residents some from Afghanistan.

Reaching New Delhi Station

On a Wednesday left for New Delhi railway station. Meet I Mishra automan who drops me at INA metro station where Mr Santosh Lohani offered me a seat in a metro coach which has its own set of morning sensation. Reach New Delhi railway station a little before 7 and the place less congested looks like it has enough space for every human. A disabled man is kind enough to dispense platform tickets and Indian Railways should employ more disabled people to chase away any ripple.
Platforms 14 and 15 are fairly clean and announcement are being made for different trains which are about to be spotted and seen. All passengers are welcome to New Delhi railway station,  Lucknow Mail arriving on P F 16, Swarn Shatabdi to Amritsar to depart from P F 1 whose passengers are quite keen. Visiting Badarpur

Automan Mr Rakesh drops me near Sec 3 R K Puram in New Delhi which has enough sets of telly. Visit Lord Venkateshwara Temple. Later take bus number 544 at 10.55 from R K Puram where the residents desist from taking rum. The conductor happens to be a woman and here the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) should employ more women conductors as it will bring sanity to other modes of transport like car, bus and tractors. Going past Advertisement on Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 18-20 Jan 2019 which would have participants including teen. Go past South Extension 11.13, we are on August Kranti Marg at 11.14, Siri Fort Road 11.18, Gargi College 11.19.

At a traffic intersection come across different vendors selling books and other merchandise and to eke out living they have to chase different passengers in cars and despite series of rebuff they remain cool and wise. My best wishes to them. We are in Chirag Delhi at 11.30, Sheikh Sarai 11.32. Go past Birla Vidya Niketan School at 11.34, Madangir Village 11.34. It is Mr Bablu the rickshawman who is kind enough to take me to Anupama Sweets where there is Mr Padamraj Bhatt to serve food and greet. Meet rickshawman Mr David Ekka and Mr Ganga Prasad a food vendor who is kind enough to give change without any thunder. Go past tea stall run by Mr Suresh who is out on a gas cylinder chase. It is automan Mr Sitaram from Katihar in Bihar who takes me to Safdarjung Enclave without waging a war. Mr Sitaram is very disciplined and doesn't at any point of time offend you and this set of automen we like to trace and they are few.

How torture went on

The criminals thriving in the city

As fourth test was drawn with some players taking the mantle of King Kong, it was time to reflect on India's 600 plus score which was sprinkled with innings of perfect timing and roar. The 2-1 series that India won showed the urgent need for repair that Aussie side needed in ton and in due course of time the Aussie team would develop the art of winning both in cash and kind. In Aussie side with some players banned and some injured it was a depleted team that went for outing with no cure. Had it not rained on fifth day , India still would have had to settle for a draw as Aussies would have gone past 250 with enough wickets in hand the match would have looked less real and more raw. Indians back home watched with bated breath when Aussies were bowled out for 300 with their cricketing kit. As this news of draw and drone filter in it is time to look at Malaysian King. Malaysian King has abdicated throne as he has tied knot with Russian ex beauty queen.

As reports come in of Red Carpet rolling out for Abu Dhabi Prince in Islamabad, Pakistan seeks to rebuild its economy with some element of finesse and art. Funding it seeks from different quarters that does not bleed it is in urgent mode to rejuvenate its economy as ties with US seem to finally get on a scale of You and Me. We aspire for peace in Afghanistan and Middle East as economies in East Asia seem to grow at a faster pace than nations like Croatia. Mr Xi of China has asked his military brass to be prepared for challenges including looming war as he plays to the gallery the reunification card every passing hour. Taiwan should be allowed to maintain sovereignty as any force to reunify would invite bile and revulsion across different world capital city. We aspire for low crude prices across world as weather across continents is out and out cold.

As News Channels across India stretch out to report on polls which would have enough gaping holes, any outfit scoring beyond 200 looks a distant dream in a nation where crime in the national capital is up and showing no signs of abating and shorn of shining cream. This City Commissioner is no good as he has told his men to be abusive and rude. Instigating his men to create reign of fear in the colony as the cops let criminals thrive from adjoining house balcony. Snooping they do at will and then release goons after taking pill, if you object to their snooping they hit you hard in Chhatarpur, Connnaught Place and other innumerable places hundred times and fire volley of filthy abuses from Metro Station to Puri to million other places.

This Builder is a criminal and commissioner after commissioner have been paying due respect to him as if this Builder is their all mighty governor. This builder has tortured a person million times as if law and order is something he keeps in his pocket and shine. This builder A 1 /277 along with cops in adjoining house A 1 / 275 lose no day to instigate their men and torture to receive the all needed voucher. The biker gang would be on a snatching spree if those who are supposed to maintain peace don't break their nexus with criminals and stop expression of glee after every act of crime and flee. The more you torture a person in tacit understanding with cops in adjoining house the more you would let crime reach new horizons and more rewarding would be your pension.

In India Political Parties Attempt At Grand Alliance or Grand Science

In India Political Parties Attempt At Grand Alliance or Grand Science

The suspense in India is all about Grand Alliance of political parties who have yet to get their act that could shine. Grand Alliance is nothing but grand adventurism aimed at uprooting those who tend to look through right wing prism. As Grand Alliance comes into force, it will showcase disparate parties desperate to get to power with the intent to shower the voters and themselves with cash favour and crush every hour. Would their crush with would be voters be the defining moment in a nation where every individual and every newspaper has a right to change temperament. They may get close to three figure mark knowing fully well who has the all-mighty tendency to stage an outright bite and bark. They may have to take a loan from here and there so that their candidates could at least get into a poll gear. Grand would be the design of grand parties not freed from illusions and fear, the compatibility to contest and not concede could well ring in the cheer.

A candidate here with outright opinion to a candidate there with unbearable poll pain would be all part of the script, the political theatre unnerving as if it has taken a hit. From North to South to East to West, the polls in India would be fought with enough diatribe thrown in adding to that layer of discomfort enough allegations/CDs now and then creeping in. From here the next 140 days with poll brouhaha reaching a crescendo with news channels reminding of the poll flavour even from a condo. It would be a sheer waste of money, power and chase as 20 plus 19 could well come up as a poll with enough men loaded with suitcase. What would be the content inside would all be known as 20 plus 19 poll won't be anything fought from a place as far as Rome. Roadshows would be heard and seen where public in multiples would shy as well as beam.

Why hold the poll in the first place when arithmetic won't favour any party with all the necessary wherewithal and force. Post poll and poll result the ties with neighbours would plummet, probably films on them would be released after enormous round of cut. Who would be at the helm and who would have the fun would all be known in the month of May when cartons of rum would be chased by even those who appear glum.

Unemployment and associated issues would continue to linger on as the thrust to win vote would see them waive a set of loans not realising this act is neither prudent and it would bloat. The less the coverage about polls and poll manifesto would help to showcase less of fight and bruise in a nation where unemployment crisis has come to cruise.  None of the parties have been sincere about employment  as many of them seem glued to all-weather money sand. Polls would come and go, parties would win and roar, getting the benefits right to the man on street would not necessarily float.  The time has come for political parties to introspect and those who raise the spectre of waiving loans here and there should realise this exercise too would over a period of time undergo unbearable wear and tear. Waiving loans is doing no good to the economy as it is only going to raise the NPAs of banks who have among their clients some named as Romney.

Post Rafale Debate Whom to Greet And Whom to Fret

As political parties exchanged barbs over Rafale post Parliament debate few had the temerity to revolve. This Rafale and the rift won't fade as opposition benches believe it would enlist for ruling benches ensuing hate. But that won't be the case as it is one business transaction that has not involved multiple suitcase.  Rafale can't be a game changer in Indian polity as there are other issues that can erupt with equanimity. Rafale rumbling the opposition would like to carry on till polls their very logic of Rafale business and price tilt is something that can make some wilt but at the same time this logic is full of gaping holes. From Las Vegas to Los Angeles the people by and large have been talking about other Rafale Candles, Rafale Calendars and Rafale Bangles.

Opposition would like to distribute Rafale candles, Rafale calendars in the hope that they would be saddled with enough poll vote bundles. The high decibel debate in the Lower House of Indian Parliament saw some demanding JPC (Joint Parliamentary Committee) to go into the deal that was signed between Indian Government and France Government to see to it that it ensures for right wing party poll reverses feel. This JPC and that ABC is out of question as Rafale is an aircraft that Air Force needs for its squadron revision. Going into polls other issues like high unemployment, surging fuel prices, surging prices of essentials, lynching in the name of cow and so on and so forth should be brought to the front to actually get the feel of poll pulse and poll incumbency hunt. Legion of followers are hellbent to distribute Rafale calendars till the time Rafale aircraft doesn't create in the subcontinent the arms race and the flying thunders.

In the run up to New Year the public was quite amused by Rafale roll call, with a peg or two of rum they were all ready to fall. The Rafale Wall is here to stay as long as parties are in the poll fray. On New Year Day Tens of thousands gathered in India Gate and its roundabout to know about their fate and this led to a congestion in Central DElhi a place which had insurmountable eatables to fill their belly. Their too they spoke about Rafale and its role in a weather when it was definitely out and out cold. Post discussions they left it to lawmakers to carry on the mantle of Rafale knowing fully well it would be covered by media which on some occasions is on a roll.

Revellers on New Year Day With No Feet Of Clay

Revellers on New Year Day With No Feet Of Clay

In National Capital of New Delhi on New Year Day as revellers thronged India Gate, Connaught Place , Delhi Zoo and Old Fort little did we know about who all came wearing a coat. They were in multiples multiplying every passing minute knowing fully well who all had taken in their breakfast the all pervasive peanut. From 2 in the afternoon revellers began to gather in tune taking as their fiefdom places like India Gate and Connaught Place the ones from where the city's economy gets the push and chase. It were pubs, shopping arcades, hotels and restaurants where revellers pitched their tents. Pubs needed little persuasion as revellers had more more than a drink or two without any hesitation. With drink taken and dream realised some thought revellers would become wise. But that was not the case as revellers were carrying suitcase stuffed with currency notes with the all-reigning belief that they won't run out of cash when drinks crash.

Delhi Zoo was one among different zones where revellers roamed with gay abandon rehearsing lines from movies with those in attendance in tandem. Exit Gates of different metro stations of Delhi had to be shut to keep revellers in their hut. But that served little purpose as revellers were on foot marching to their destination in a march of glut. Drinks down and food taken, revellers expressed a wish to take a nap here and there, some could be seen staging this act with the all solo underwear. Late in the night as revellers returned home after exchange of abuse and fight, the home doors were shut on them and they had to spend night in vehicles of make like Zen.

The next morning with previous day's hysteria all gone revellers thought of places like Rome and what all went wrong. They took a pledge that they won't gather in multiples next year and spare places like India Gate, Connaught Place and Old Fort from their fear. As they returned to their work stations to begin their monthly routine, they searched on net on places where next year they could be seen. They took to newspapers of the day where reports were on PM taking varied questions and here they hope they would preside over that office providing multiple solutions. There were reports on Serena Federer tennis clash, with 43 Grand Slam titles under their belt the duo could croon and afford a bash.
