Delhi's Gold Hunters by Mr Shiv Sunny in HT was a good attempt. Such stories elicit interest. The piece by Mr Aakar Patel in Asian Age on India lagging behind in football and earlier story on how residents of Japan are simple despite technological advancements were equally good.
It is high time the standoff in Delhi administration is resolved. The L-G is here to work. The L-G should show a big heart and ask civil servants to report to work. It seems and this is what the people are saying the Civil servants are not cooperating as they have been issued instructions to do so. The Central Govt and State Govt should reach a broad understanding. The residents of the city are at the receiving end. Why residents of Delhi suffer because of differences between two political parties? One never knows what the verdict would be in 11 months from now.
