The Youth Brigade in India is getting impatient with each passing day

The youth brigade in India is getting impatient with each passing day. They want to hang on to power by hook or crook. With prodding by right wing party this political party honcho who is in mid 40s wants to ride clean and clear. A past that is not decoratable and a future that is least clear, the youth brigade wants to take a shot at the top post with the rider that he has substantial number of legislators who are willing to cross the line. When it came to crunch not even handful of legislators could be seen by his side.

This political party honcho who has returned from sabbatical from Santiago drew support in the second week of this month from some notable absentees of a centre right political party who had drawn a blank in parliamentary polls. This honcho is desperate and desperate were his tools of engagement in the first and second week of this month aiming to run with the towel and right wing tilt. Having been sounded the success he could replicate like the Madhya Pradesh model, he fell aside when he could not garner sufficient support of legislators. The Court in the state is at fault for not letting Speaker take a decision on rebel legislators and not directing the Guv acting at the behest of Central Leadership to convene Assembly session. The person holding the Guv post is bringing disgrace to the said office and he should be directed to convene House Session at the earliest. The right wing party has least appetite for any other block/formation to reign supreme in any State and as seen on numerous occasions staged a coup of sorts. This agenda of usurping power had its share of success in some States and mistiming was the right wing party's move this time and it rightfully boomeranged on them.

As for the floods in the States of Bihar and Assam the longing for normal times is a prayer on their lips and sooner these floods recede the better it would be. In these uncertain times we get inundated by reports of a stock market out to croon, not even a handful have a wish for it rise or fall flat, these uncertain times have made us realise that this virus has had a dream run and when it would abate in not known. Even in these times political parties are resilient enough to jockey for power something that is shameful and least palatable.
