What happened in Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh State in India was highly unfortunate. The horrifying incident of farmers being run over by politico's convoy has been captured in video. There are innumerable witness to this horrifying incident and there are innumerable videos circulating capturing the torture the farmers underwent. The farmers are at the receiving end in the country and despite proof no action has been taken against the politico and his son. When would action be initiated against the politico and his son? When would the politico put in his papers (resign) and action initiated against his son. String of cars ran over farmers and the henchman and his son is still at large

For how long the farmers would face the might of the state and get traumatised. We are living in uncertain times and those falling in the lower strata are facing the fury of the state. Farmers have every right to protest and their protest should not draw ire from judiciary. Farmers are protesting against the farm laws and they are justified in carrying out protest which has by and large remained peaceful. You can't court the rich and woo them at the expense of farmers. In our nation the people can't remain mute to harsh treatment meted out to farmers. Farmers are in distress and the judiciary should take note of this fact.

For how long farmers would continue to get harassed by the regime of the day. The farmers have drawn attention of the public and majority of Indians have expressed solidarity with farmers. Here in our country the fuel prices have touched a record high and Indians are in distress as their grievances are not being addressed.
