Kannabiran's young sister loses life at a young age due to barbarity visited by such men. Kannabiran's other relations too face tyrant Kamesh who picks up girls at the drop of a hat. It is Kamesh's henchman Nithin who woos one of Kannabiran's sisters and makes video of her when she is in act of love with him or bathing. These agitating videos are sent at repeated intervals by Kamesh to Kannabiran. Kannabiran gets better of Nithin and makes him confess to the barbarity committed by him at the instance of Kamesh. When Kannabiran gathers evidence against Kamesh and produces them in court the case falls flat as Kamesh turns the tide by planting the dead body of Nithin in Kannabiran's car in his residence. Kannabiran and his father are sent to prison. 

Kannabiran is too agitated and so is his father and they bide time. Kannabiran loses faith in judiciary and endless time that media, judiciary and cops take to bring justice to aggrieved families. Once out of cell Kannabiran wants to put an end to evil designs of Kamesh and his henchmen even if he has to go to the extreme. Henchmen's family members are brought face to face with these henchmen and their complicity in picking up girls from territories namely Tamil Nadu, Andhra and Karnataka to satisfy the lust of Kamesh. These family members kill these henchmen and so is Kamesh slayed by Kannabiran in a warehouse. Kannabiran is arrested but there are many who applaud his conduct. The signing note is Krishna Mohan Will Be Back. 

This Tamil Movie ET essayed the times we are living in with a note that villains in their desire to satisfy their lust would pick up women off and on and they would get better of the system. Actor Vishal who plays the role of Balu returns from abroad. He skips the reception at airport. He gets warm welcome at home. His father Rajkiran who plays the role of Durai has large followers in his village as he is Village Head. At repeated intervals there are rituals performed in the village in which Durai, Balu, their family members and entire village turn up to put a prayer to the Village Deity. Balu falls for a woman named Sembaruthi  played by Keerthy Suresh. And they fall in love. These peace tidings have oscillation of sorts with a woman from Rayalaseema named Pechi who has evil designs. She sends missive that such and such person should be eliminated. Her express orders are to be carried out lest one would face her ire. And here she wants to eliminate one person whose entire family has been wiped out. But Durai would have none of that. Durai and entire village are steadfast that they won't give in to demands of Pechi.  

Durai and Balu come in the firing line. Balu escapes the attack on him but Durai takes a hit. Durai's message while lying injured to his son is to not let this incident be told to anyone and by no means take revenge. He keeps his father's words. While Durai is recuperating at home there are scenes where visibility of Durai is brought forward through acts of he getting a shave or addressing a gathering from a vehicle which is displayed on screen.
