Gaining Access To Middle Section Of Delhi

Gaining Access To Middle Section Of Delhi

Having boarded 776 bus from Nauroji Nagar, the ride was amidst spate of vehicles on Delhi's Ring Road and vehicular emissions are primarily to be blamed for AQI touching 500 fort. With winter having set in, AQI would pander to 500 fort underscoring the need that Delhi has to take a call irrespective of those who are going to get in a brawl. First and foremost Delhi should set an upper limit of 1000 cars getting registered in a year, and nothing beyond that with no fear. And those households with one car or more than that should not be involved in registration process, and for a frank 15 years they by no means be able to purchase a new one, and that should set in a new traffic churn. Vehicles registered outside Delhi should not be allowed to ply, and if they deem to do so, a cess of Rs 1,00,000 or above that should be levied each year, and on this powers that be lending all ear. More importantly a data base of all cars plying in the city should be prepared, and from only one designated petrol pump petrol/diesel be sold and that too 10 litres a month, and these ideas should pitch their tent. Car owner should have a certificate listing the particular petrol pump from where the gasoline is to be disbursed, and thereby making it impossible to get gasoline from other petrol stations even if someone is driving reverse. Petrol stations should have a data on gasoline disbursed each day to vehicle owners thereby making it unattainable for any vehicle to get gasoline beyond permissible limit. More should be forewarned that this toxic air is adding to the chaos and things can't look better unless vehicles are not taken away from plying ladder. Toxic air Delhi can get rid of if the number of vehicles on roads drastically, and not dramatically, drop by 50 per cent and more vehicle owners giving their assent.

Thoughts On Mayurbhanj In Orissa

As vehicular emissions were huge on that Wednesday, the bus took a left turn with directions to India Gate, Connaught Place, INA Market, and I deboarded at Kidwai Nagar at 11.48 with some members from minority section having steady traits. Be it a woman in a burqa or a man in a skull cap what thoughts went through their mind as they waited for the bus with no likelihood of they being slapped with a traffic fine. There were others from North East India and I coming across a journo from Mayurbhanj in Orissa State, the very State that has pliable connectivity to South India from Khurda with some known to clear files in RUDA (Rural Non-Farm Development Agency). Series of buses going to Delhi Hazrat Nizamuddin  (794A) as well to Kashmere Gate ISBT (502), as well to Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (588) with no thoughts on EVMs (Electronic Voting Machines). There were as well DO08 and DO22 buses going to Safdarjung and the staff looking quite young. The said journo reported to AIR (All India Radio) and he dropping hints that the Present President Of India too hailed from Mayurbhanj, a place docile and with no issues like pollution and weather permission. There was one gentleman from Bhatinda in Punjab making enquiries about buses going to Jantar Mantar to be part of an agitation linked to BSNL section. Here thoughts were on Jammu And Kashmir and down the decades tourists from Spain to Guatemala would be quite keen.

The Ride To Delhi's Middle Section In The Backdrop Of Haze Equation

As one had to wait for the bus for long, in came 460 and 433 (C) buses choc-a-bloc with passengers and I looked at series of e-rickshaws parked nearby seeking passengers who on that particular day would give Sarojini Nagar Market a try. Board 460 bus at 12.20 and go past Safdarjung Flyover,  Safdarjung Airport and Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan with no thoughts on those who reside in house number 147 in Durban. Go past Safdarjung Madarsa, Tughlak Crescent, Tughlak Road with no word yet from India Gate Port. There are directions to IGI Airport, Connaught Place and Vijay Chowk, with the bus going past Krishna Menon Marg, Sunehri Bagh Road and Udyog Bhawan, the very places in the heart of Delhi and all in thick blanket of haze battery. As one goes past India Gate, Chelmsford Club and Ashoka Road (Sanchar Bhawan), the time to access Parliament Street is 12.38 with some in SBI New Delhi Branch likely to make calls to Mr Gate. Go past FREE CHURCH and deboard at Palika Kendra at 12.40, the very moment when none can get haughty. The ride good and environs need to get prude.

Making Attempt To Access Middle Section Of Delhi Again

Making Attempt To Access Middle Section Of Delhi Agan

Having spoken to Mr Parmanan of Shiva Murugan (Good Stay) in Rameswaram (Rameswaram Is A Holy Spot In Tamil Nadu State In South India), the conversation veered towards my likely visit to this holy town where devotees do visit on a Sunday, the day Caribbean nations take a call on who would take the crown. Caribbean nations may take the heat as far as weather is concerned, and here host of leaders are well aware of how to bring unfolding proceedings under their firm grip with no blip. As for the next available visit to Rameswaram,  nothing can be said for sure as cyclones in some sections of world are expected to make a landfall with a roar. For visiting Rameswaram one needs to take a train from Delhi Hazrat Nizamuddin, and most comfortable would be Chennai Rajdhani going all the way to Chennai with available seats two days ago on Wednesday showing 131 vacant slots in 3AC, 28 in 2AC and 14 in 1AC with buzz that fewer take this caravan for South India Winter Odyssey. South does not hand out invite on a platter, and one has to better watch out for meals to mesmering spell of weather that on occasions take away the rescuing ladder making some bother.

Taking Public Transport From Nauroji Nagar

With no definite plan to visit Rameswaram, I set out on a Wednesday to gain access to Middle Section Of Delhi again presuming the gates would be locked next to Shipyard House where on random occasions people browse. Leave home at 11.23 AM and go past security personnel Mr Ram Kumar Singh whose ancestors at some point of time would have been The King. As I go past Subway (Timings 6 AM to 10 PM), there is an ad of Excitel Broadband in Nauroji Nagar bus stand ushering in the need to drive safely in a city that is marooned in traffic hourly. As Haryana Roadways bus originating from Gurugram one sights, there are reminders that tens of thousands of people in this very place sleep under open sky the entire winter when few care for them during this calendar. Similar picture of inconvenience can be seen at different platforms of Bhopal Station in Madhya Pradesh State when tens of thousands sleep for hours endlessly waiting for trains with no hints, no wings. As the wait at bus stand shows no sign of receding, the buses that go through this territory are namely 479 Badarpur Border, 724 Nehru Place, 724 EXT Nehru Place, 776 Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium and these very places in the heart of Delhi where Overseas Delegations do visit carrying $ and € in more than double digit. As I board bus number 776 at 11.40 the bus crawls given the spate of vehicles on ring road having seen Snack Like A Champion. American Quality Pistachios board. Here thoughts are on Ajmer and Jaisalmer (Ajmer And Jaisalmer Are Tourist Attractions In Rajasthan State In West India), the places that hold year to year fair. Year to year fair that rings in a good footfall, with visitors expected to take beverages that makes them understand the nuances of visiting cinema theatres during Autumn And Fall.

Visiting Middle Section Of Delhi

Visiting Middle Section Of Delhi

On a Friday had the opportunity to access and explore middle section of Delhi primarily Connaught Place where tax notices are bothering some, with some eager to settle this despite no word yet from AGM. Left Home at 10.07 AM and go past Jerusalem Mar Thoma Syrian Church, go past Shipyard House where people have no grouse. Security personnel Mr Shiv Narain is kind enough to inform that the way to Nauroji Nagar from back side has been done away with in the face of locks to the gate in a city where after witnessing hour to hour traffic some berate. Reach Nauroji Nagar bus stand at 10.18 with slew of buses going to Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station, the very place which has a fascination to receive and deliver trains to South India destinations. Board bus number 568 with thoughts on Tuglaqabad and Ballabgarh, prime places in vicinity of Delhi always in a functional mode, and where passengers from local trains deboard. Deboard at Kidwai Nagar and board bus number 548 (A) at 10.30 with spate of vehicles I had witnessed on ring road some moments ago looking crazy.  Go past Safdarjung Flyover,  Safdarjung Airport and Rajiv Gandi Bhawan with my bus on Aurobindo Marg with no information sheet released from Durban.

Go Past Tughlaq Crescent, Go Past Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Road

Go past Tughlaq Crescent, Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Road, Krishna Menon Marg, Sunehri Bagh Road, Udyog Bhawan with some sporting fabric of Raymond. India Gate is in thick blanket of haze and as one goes past Rail Bhawan and Chelmsford Club, there are directions to Rajiv Chowk (Named After Former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi), GPO and Connaught Place hub. Reach Ashoka Road at 10.42 and Parliament Street at 10.43 with SBI New Delhi branch having visitors who can walk in free. Deboard at 10.45 at Palika Kendra and walk past Indian Bank, Kwality Restaurant (Since 1940) and here none getting haughty and pitching their tent. With shutters down in Regal and Rivoli Theatres one can presume avid cinema goers are missing exciting times with some vendors telling me that one can settle for other theatres like Plaza, and with little word on event management company Truza. Go past DELL Exclusive Store and reach Shivaji Stadium at 10.55 and I gaining entry to Naveen Tea shop in Gole Market roundabout and this looking fine.

Leave Tea House And Come Back To Connaught Place Again

Leave Tea House at 11.10 and procure set of pens from Janata Book Depot. Go past H Block Connaught Place, and come across ad of Experience Bengal. The Sweetest Part Of India. As I go past Indira Chowk which is named after former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, I deem fit to board bus from Super Bazar and henceforth take 548 (C) and go past Jeevan Bharti premises and reach Palika Kendra which offers different choices. Go past FREE CHURCH, go past Rafi Marg, Central Secretariat with India Gate still looking to be wrapped in smog sheet and commuters taking the heat. As I go past Sunehri Bagh Road and reach Tughlaq Road  at 11.53, the Bharat-ASEAN Maitri Park may at some point of time throw light on Sir Creek. Go past Safdarjung Madarsa, Safdarjung Airport and I getting down at Kidwai Nagar at 12.01 and here no weather to decode and some finding this to be fun. Board auto and reach home at 12.12 with Mr Raghubir at the helm with series of stores in Central Market almost ready to ring the bell.

This was an outing where I came across ad of Canara Bank Fulfilling Aspirations Of Young India and summing the sentiments across length and breadth is no trivia. This was an outing when none of the vehicles I came across pressed on accelerator, and moderate speed on moderate roads of Delhi may not bring in the need to take lessons from traffic tutor. This was an outing when India Gate back and forth was unable to take away the cauldron of obscurity, and this would stay as it is till winter battery. This was an outing that kept the line of communication open in a city that plays host to visitors primarily German. This was an outing that truly captured the winning moments of a city despite no thundershowers and we expect the same after a long pause.

Visiting Southern Section Of Delhi

Visiting Southern Section Of Delhi

With an intent to explore Southern Section Of Delhi, left home on a Thursday, the day when gifts are brought in a tray, the very day when none were dissecting exit poll and this exercise rarely aligned to in Seoul. Left Home at 9.05 AM, and came across fruit vendor Mr Kalu, who goes on a long vacation post Diwali when firecrackers are burst akin to an act of daredevilry. With AQI touching almost 500, the noble act would have been to skip firecrackers and by no means across border come in contact with hackers. Hackers can turn world upside down and this known to personnel of Foreign Ministry who don't frown. Foreign Ministry personnel have been visiting establishments in Congo to Coartia, and on a different plane on occasions getting familiar with developments in Eurasia. As for my stepping out of home, I went past Gate Number 3 Safdarjung Enclave untouched by moolah wave. Moolah wave solicited the required votes in one State, a State which down the decades would stay as still as nil reportage on cash dough in media.

Go Past Mali Mission, Accessing Africa Avenue

Ambience school bus I came across and as I went past Central Market, the very place where at one point of time the people used to carry water in a bucket. Not much is known about running water supply in Delhi, the city that welcomes with open arms smog yearly, hitting as well the followers of singer Nelly. Go past Green Fields School where parking attendant asked one gentleman to vacate parking space, and surroundings in the city evoking less praise. Go past Embassy Of The Republic Mali, quite familiar with uncertain passage this nation is witness to, day by day developments bringing the clue. With directions to Chanakyapuri and JNU all spelled on a board, it was time to access Africa Avenue at 9.18, the very moment when some open their canteen. Here I spot car with number plates RJ 13 CF 4718 and moments later AR 02 A 5221, signifying visitors do come from Rajasthan and Arunachal and in these two places there be no need for scientific instrument TEOM. There are buses 610 Central Secretariat Special and again 610 Parliament House Annexe Special where on a visit visitors do get dazzled.

Reaching VAIKUNTANATHJI TEMPLE

Access Church Road at 9.23, Service Road at 9.25 with thoughts on Jaisalmer where women don't drink and drive.  At 9.37 reach SRI VENKATESWARA MANDIR MARG, the very place where devotees come in large numbers to put in a prayer for new administration in New York. Hope the Mayor Office is lend all the help to let the New Mayor attend to city needs and in due course taking no reverses and no administration heat. Reach IIT Hostel bus stand at 9.40, Ber Sarai at 9.45 and entering SRI VAIKUNTANATHJI TEMPLE in Sri Vedanta Desika Marg at 9.48 with little known about Maharashtra's Region Beed (Maharashtra Is A State In West India). On the way back from Temple reach IIT Hostel at 10.12, with some having milk tea which should not make them yell. Mind you, PWD vans had sprinkled water, and that makes the passage to R K Puram slippery and dicey, and one has to be on guard and this thoroughfare is not easy.

Boarding Bus From R K Puram

From Sector 3, R K Puram board bus number 544 at 10.23 with too many vacant seats inside, perhaps suggesting for longish journey passengers need to take requisite diet. Go past Bhikaji Cama Place, Sarojini Nagar Depot and M Block with no word yet on investment options in Duko. There is a board highlighting way to Safdarjung Railway Station, the very place that down the generations would welcome guests from Asia/Africa who would be saddled with enough patience. The bus goes past Mukherjee Public School jumping red light, and this is not an understatement that traffic viloation here is an inbuilt rule. From SREE VINAYAKA MANDIR MARG the ride is minus speed and I deboard at 10.42 knowing fully well the city needs to break up from perplexing smog feed.

This voyage to Southern Section demanded oodles of patience and perseverance as one had stepped out on a day when haze had hit the city hard and railways finding difficult to locate yard. One should presume the winter would stay this course, and for any forward movement the vehicular emissions would have to step back irrespective of intake of German Gose.

High Cost Of Living, Huge Cost Incurred to Keep India Home Engine Revving

High Cost Of Living, Huge Cost Incurred to Keep India Home Engine Revving

Having Arrived In New Delhi, the first piece of news that one came across was the urgency shown by Capital Administrators to take a call on Circle Rate in a city which is as well home to weighty personnel of IT and ED who occasionally appear in Govt News Channel DD (Doordarshan). This Govt Channel few watch as it is out and out belligerent to those in Opposition Space who on rumours have less appliances to dodge. Already households in Delhi City are paying huge house tax, and any circle rate revision would make their aspirations from medium to long term getting axed. Aspirations to send their wards to best school in town to getting the right dose of milk that would not make them gain pound. Aspirations that the milk would have a broad appeal as prices would freeze, and from those in the lowest ladder and those roaming tiger, they all would be able to access milk with ease.

No Pressing Need To Revisit Circle Rate

Where is the pressing need to revisit circle rate as urban chaos the administrators can't mitigate. From power purchase to water nudge with a punch coming at a steep cost and here powers that be want to show they are the real boss. Real boss to feign ignorance that in Hindi Heartland there are Provinces/States where almost 94 lakh (9.4 million) households have net monthly income below Rs 6,000 (below $68) and no amenable tales to recall from Houston. Houston Tales would have been all about rock solid income to pay power/water bills that give uninterrupted thrill. Houston Tales may come in due course of time when gossip won't chime.

High Cost Of Living Involving Power/Water Tariff And Commute In Surroundings That Are Not Arid

Had power tariff been sweet and water coming in requisite fleet evoking no reprimand, letting this argument set in that cost of living had by all means tanked. Cost of living from cummute that induces no sessions of cribbing would have made the city stay look wonderful having sighted no double. With nothing of that sort happening, AQI (Air Quality Index) BLUES hitting each and every resident who is travelling, the AQI Ascent should have mattered the most as Delhi all through 365 days plays host. Instead of Circle Rate Revelation, the Resolution should have been the resolve on AQI which is hitting the sky. The AQI IMBROGLIO and the echo keeping the city in a perpetual state, and here noteworthy would be the next officialdom take. AQI skyrocketing to 500 and making Delhi carry the tag of most polluted in urban landscape which no city from Central America to Africa would like to ape. Central America to Africa cities may have population reclined to a proposition that fewer resources and fewer inmates demanding the same, the battle is half won if distribution of the cake is done by those with no bias and appear large-hearted and chums with sentiments pious.

Grand City Of Delhi With Grand Gardens

In The Grand City Of Delhi Which Has Grand Gardens, the conversation is all about the milk which looks to be an exercise dripping in bilk. The screw that is added to the middle class not in meddlesome nature is that each pack of milk comes for Rs 59 ($0.67), and herein lies the rub and fine. It was below Rs 30 about nine to 12 years ago and these years have not thrashed milk ego. With milk getting dearer and veggies making holes in wallet, the home budget has been turned upside down with no word yet who would be the new King taking the crown. Milk by all estimates would remain around Rs 59 or inch upwards despite some claiming New GST (Goods And Services Tax) Bulletin having the aura of invincibility that prices could drop from as unheard of places as Delhi's Neighbour Hindon. In Hindon there is an air base and equally having residents with milk craze. What the middle class in our country is to do with high reigning prices of milk which one can't afford to have in bulk. Are we to believe the milk is not suited for middle class and only Kings And Queens can have a blast?

Let the milk slide to a rate affordable to huge sections as this would engineer cushion. Any drop and any sop would be welcome as milk is a necessity for those including Tennis Icon Ivan. We are waiting for days which should not turn to years which one can't trace when milk prices would step down from arrogance pedestal, and would be in least double digit, and some thing that would be reverential.

Having Arrived In New Delhi, Time Ripe To Head Towards Kashmere Gate Early

Having Arrived In New Delhi, Time Ripe To Head Towards Kashmere Gate Early

Having arrived in New Delhi, on a particular day, had the fortune of stepping out of home with some sparing thoughts on Zohran Zone.  Zohran Zone may be up against challenges but with a fair leadership at helm it may be able to ring in desired changes. Desired changes that does world of good for the common man on street who has been with no break facing inflation heat. Desired changes that rein in irritants running around day to day household chores that are fierce and come with an added force. As for the intent to head towards middle sections of Delhi, I left Safdarjung Enclave home at 7.32 AM and reaching Nauroji Nagar bus stand at 7.38 with definite moments spent on figuring out bus traits. Bus traits where rides in the city have been wonder of sorts for women as free commute is provided by DTC ( Delhi Transport Corporation) whose staff during noon is quite busy. Board ISBT Kashmere Gate bus at 7.43 with some inside public transport carrying feature phone which has properties that can stay for eon. Go past Joyalukkas store, go past Andrews Ganj, go past Gupta Market, go past Lajpat Nagar where people are eager. Go past Nehru Nagar (This Place Has Been Named After First Prime Minister Of India Jawaharlal Nehru), and here there is collection of people anticipating no trouble. Thinking about Kalighat Temple, Dakshineswar Kali Temple in Kolkata (Kolkata Is Capital Of West Bengal State In East India) on which there are immaculate weather data. Go past Gurdwara Bala Sahib, go past ISBT Sarai Kale Khan with some keen to know the running status of Kolkata Trams. Iconic Kolkata Trams have been providing easy passage with fares under control for even personnel of Bengaluru software company going by the name PEOL.

Go Past Indraprastha Park, Go Past Shanti Stupa

Go past Indraprastha Park, go past Shanti Stupa, go past I P Depot at 8.20 with ring road circular firm on positioning of NCAER (National Council of Applied Economic Research) and Indira Gandhi Stadium with notable mention having been made about malfunctioning EVM (Electronic Voting Machine).  As the bus goes past National Gandhi Museum and Raj Ghat, this ring road stretch in the heart of Delhi is long with no calls made to West Bengal's Kalimpong. Reach Kashmere Gate at 8.33 with imprudent and brazen SIR trying to deny one community voting rights and henceforth making them tied to a tree. Muslims are as well part of India as Hindus and Christians, and where is the running need to keep them tucked away from poll orbit just on the premise that they are from a different religion having enough cushion.

 Visiting Lord Hanuman Temple

Having reached Kashmere Gate, enter Lord Hanuman Temple at 8.40 and come out by 9.10 when in some schools this is a recess time and some are able to dodge challenges with a pen. The wait for auto is an indomitable challenge and able to get hold of one by 9.30 with directions to Noida, Faridabad and Gurugram looking pretty. Mind you Noida, Faridabad and Gurugram are part of NCR (National Capital Region) Of Delhi with traffic movement here having a sizeable tally. Go past Rajghat Depot, and with slew of bikes on the way to Kashmere Gate and on return ride, the traffic momentum is minus euphoria and looking to be a spectacle of inevitable fight. Having reached ITO at 9.37, there are directions to India Gate, Pragati Maidan and Rajiv Chowk, with road choc-a-bloc with vehicles of all shapes, sizes and colour with little thoughts on Indian town Teok. As one goes past The Institute Of Chartered Accountants Of India structure, thoughts are on Hampi and Anjanadri Betta (Lord Hanuman Birth Place) in Karnataka State in South India where trains go from Delhi Hazrat Nizamuddin Station, with outbound passengers required to have enough patience.

Akbar Road Having Moments Of Gaiety

As the auto went past Mandi House, Lalit Kala Akademi and Ferozeshah Road at 9.46, Raisina Road was accessed at 9.50 with Akbar Road inviting no trouble and having moments of gaiety. From Tughlaq Road to Laxmi Bai Nagar the commute lasting little over five minutes, and here some having doughnuts. Sarojini Nagar came at 10.05 and I reaching home at 10.10 with rude voter list inputs' revision least likely to have a newsworthy trend. This was a ride to a place in the heart of Delhi, with submissions made that traffic diversions do occur when one comes across unfathomable VIP MOVEMENT pressure cooker. This was a ride resonating with a desire that Delhi be the one which gives employment to people from Hindi Heartland in more than a dozen. This was a ride that some take to get a coveted assignment in a city where there is hour to hour AQI measurement. The AQI spike mirrors the need to contain the number of vehicles that hit the road each day, consistent with the stand India is young and here on festive occasions people pray.
