Leaving Kashmere Gate

Leaving Kashmere Gate

Having reached Kashmere Gate, I trooped into Lord Hanuman Temple at 9 AM with those in attendance in no mood to furnish details on EVMs. EVMs of late in India had got bad press from those filing reports in you tube as mainstream media is biased, and barely does factual reporting, and is primarily govt aiding. From stampedes to Treasury section stonewalling queries from Opposition benches, this media blanks out such reports, and primarily drawing life from ads that govt of the day approves. This media has no spine, and on issues of national import it does not feel the need to court. Hanging by minimal facts, this media quite proportionately draws ire of the common man, and there won't be substance change till these muddy guys sight on roads infamous tanks.

Visiting This Place Even Before 2006

With the temple rush showing no sign of receding, I came out soon, and this famed temple is open on Tuesday beyond noon. Even before 2006 I have been visiting this temple, and during that time one could sit in the adjoining hall and put in a prayer but nothing of that sort now as moments spent inside is even less than a minute with some having understood the benefits of having in the evening doughnuts. Hailed an auto with the automan hailing from Motihari in Bihar Province, and I was assured the ride would be minus hiccups as all along I avoided meeting those going by the name Lukas. As the auto went past bustling Chandni Chowk, thoughts turn to Lord Hanuman Temple in Tughlak Road, and memories it can evoke. Thoughts as well turn to Nathdwara, Lord Shreenath Place in Rajasthan Province, which draws devotees round the year. Go past buzzing Delhi Gate, ITO and here no thoughts on places named El Dorado. Once in Sikandra Road followed by Ferozeshah Road, the trains passing through Kanpur and Mughalsarai in Uttar Pradesh Province bring back the memories of inflated power bills given the introduction of smart metres as those assigned the task of installing the same are by and large not neutral. When would UP residents be freed from pricey bills no one knows as this State has least seen investments from large set of business house some of which have long pending grouse.

Are We To See Infiltration By Boats During Ferocious Monsoon?

The auto was moving in regulated speed, and as it left Krishi Bhawan, Railway Bhawan and Sunehri Bagh Road in quick succession, some among these places were homes to govt offices, the very govt that does not give choices. Going past Dr A P J ABDUL KALAM ROAD, the auto leans towards Mustafa Kemal Ataturk Road perhaps the nasty monsoon season can well see infiltration by boats. Measured monsoon would be welcome, the battle with fierce one would be tiresome. Going past Vinay Marg, Nehru Park, G Avenue, the auto was amidst traffic that was by no means burnout, and showed allegiance towards a traffic regime that had closed doors on touts. Going past Sarojini Nagar Railway Station and Sree Vinayaka Mandir Marg, the auto ride was sum total of expectations one has from Delhi City where during noon some watch incriminating DVD.
