World Is Praying For Iran. India Is Praying For Iran. We Are Praying For Iran

World Is Praying For Iran. India Is Praying For Iran. We Are Praying For Iran

Peppered with the belief that gaining access to Nehru Place In New Delhi would come with ease, there were multiple rides with wallet not looking to be tight. As usual stepped out on days when the Sun was at its prime best, the ride oscillated between hope and fear as Election Commission's SIR (Special Intensive Revision) had done the apparent dirty deed and on this there are ample news feed. Multiple Rides coaxed me to board bus number 724 from Nauroji Nagar, and with the lone man at Raj Nagar bus stand, the commute one looked forward to was amidst set of vehicles that get on roads post morning running errands.

First It Was Bihar, Now Bengal Polls

The ride past West Kidwai Nagar, South Extension Market made one wonder would India in the coming days lose voting thunder. First it was Bihar (Province) and now Bengal (Province), opening floodgates for poll panel's dubious software for keeping in motion SIR and thereby ensuring summer to winter brawl. As the bus inched towards Andrews Ganj followed by Central School where one can invariably get summer punch, the road ride ahead looked taxing as there was traffic congestion much different from plane congestion in the air where rides do come with plenty of fear. As bus made its way to LSR College and Zamrudpur abutting Greater Kailash, those evoking Deceptive-cum-Disruptive SIR at appropriate time may not find space on dais. As the wheels had not come out of bus, evoking praise for these machines that don't raise stress, time was ripe to place thoughts on water stress that India and colonies face, and here no region would like to ape. Water is precious, punctual time for delivery can turn ferocious if there is no ample supply, and from bathing to brimming all can lose lustre if water is amidst surroundings lined by rupture. Water can burst even in unheard of places like race course whose inmates give India jolt dose. As the bus finally made it to Nehru Place, it was time to deboard and look forward to yogurt-based beverage (lassi) that here in this Delhi territory is more than average.

Election Commission's Dubious Software

As I took a return ride, the dialogue and delivery on SIR diktat among commuters was all about this nuisance in play for over six months primarily meant to take away voting rights of marginalised and those in minority as if India could afford this poll googly battery.  Electoral rolls' revision courtesy dicey software which in any other country it would not have passed the test of the courts, and this exercise more aligned to give one political party elusive votes. This SIR and poll panel's dubious software did not get courts thorough attention and investigation, opening the field for mass exclusion of voters, systemically done to favour set of candidates belonging to one party, and Election Commission finding all this pretty. How could the dubious software find 3.66 crore voters in Madhya Pradesh and Bengal as suspects thereby making it easier for votaries of delimitation to clear the decks. Mind you, this fun of keeping Muslims and like-minded groups away from voting theatre can well boomerang as there are other pressing issues if not attended to can get the powers that be canned.

None Indispensable In Political Space

None are indispensable in political space, and if ill-fated SIR not reined in, those trying to win through back doors would cease to be king, and from here search for houses would make them come across people carrying pen with no ink.  Polls in West Bengal Province were by and large rigged and here some gained handsome tip. Handsome tip they would regret as this poll panel engineered poll upheaval in West Bengal would sooner than later make some people start placing bet.

Civil war no one desires, and as the SIR convoy is not reversed, the country and the capital may lose purse. Deletions should give way to additions, and those denied voting rights in Bengal turf over and above 3 million should be given relief for peace proceedings to be notable chief.

As for Iran, thoughts would stay on course for peace to float, and in the coming weeks there is hope and hope.
