Jo sudhar na saka by Puneet Rajhans
As i board another bus with another set of people, there is one gentleman who is duty bound to spell out the nature of influence on him. He is upfront. The bus is heading towards Rewari and he is more than forthcoming in spelling out the good life he has led.
He begins : "Yeh hai bahut bada munim jo sudhar na saka." The munim he is referring to and his henchmen have been the most watchable events in the place of his assimilation. Is munim ke paas hai itni taqat ki yeh doosro ki ghar mein ghusne ka adhikar ki rakhta hai dwawat. Picchle char saal se zyada (More than four years) isne doosro ke ghar mein ghoosne ki taqat hasil ki hai. Yeh hai is munim ki kahani jo doosre ke ghar mein ghoosene ki adhikar sunata apne jubani. Bolte hai ki iske paas hai itna paise ki yeh apni range of demands subhe roj rakhta.
Yeh hai do take ka munim aur iski do take ki harketa jisko rok na saka samaj ki koi bhi bandishe. Isne doosro ke ghar mein ghoosene ki maharathi hasil ki hai and is kaam mein iske logo ne nayee jaan phooki hai. Iska ka himachali molester naukar joh raat hote hi doosre ke gate mein aur uske lock par karta hai vaar kyunki yehi hai iska adhikaar.Laki ke dande se karta hai vaar. Is adhikaar mein iske naukar aur chowkidaar ne kitne baar doosro ke ghar mein ghoose, rat hoi ya din sabhi samay ek jaise lage. Chaar saal tak doosre ka gate khol khol ke inhone ne apna dikhaya hai adhikar.
Kuch swar jo himachali naukar ke muh se nikle; "Ladka naha rahai, ladka aa gaye hai, ladka bathroom mein hai, ladke ko bahar nikalo. Ladke ko ham theek kar denge. Ladka naha raha hai aur bahar aane wala hai." Ladke ki kheti yeh karta hai aur is kaam mein chaar saal se laga hai.
Apne paise ke baL bute isne doosre ko kharida, na bach saka colony ka guard aur na bach saka colony ke driver. Do saal pehle rakhi thi inhone maang(demand). Ki tod do gate aur tod do deewar. Yeh himachali naukar subah munim ke paas jata aur poochta ki mujhe kab aur kaise ladke ki talash karna hai. Subah aur shaam iske ghar ke bahar teen driver, teen chowkidaar aur naukar ki mehfil lagti hai aur ladke ki khoj suru hoti hai. Har hafte naye aadmi aate western UP se and nazar rakhte makaan aur insaan par.
The millionaire servant in tight enmbrace of munimYeh upfront hai. Yeh kehta hame ladka chaiyye aur pure peak par hote hai jab koi insaan bahar aate. Inki mehfil se log hote hai rubaru aur ander munim ko aati hai nayee khosboo. Jo bhi letter aate, courier aate, dawai aati, sab iske dwar se gujarte. Kyunki isko dikhana hai zarrori kyunki isne sabko khareeda hai apne daulat se poori. Yeh munim aur iski saantan kabhi apne chowkidaar se poochta: "Kya ladka dikha? Kya ladka bola? Us par nazar rakh" Aur cowkidaar apni sahmati dikhata. Doosre driver aur iske naukar kehta : "Ladka aaj nahi dikha. Ladke ko bahar nikal."
Iski santaan aur khanddan bhi hai utni paapi kyunki doosre ke ghar mein ghoosna, landline ko tap karna, letter/courier /bank statement gayab karna hai inki majboori. Doosre ke ghar mein courier aur saman bechnewale ke bahane log bhejta hai kyunki koshish hai kaise andar dhaba bole. Ho sakta hai forgery ho inka naya mukaam jab yeh letter, courier gayab karte.Jab Jharkandi tenant rahta tha, to iske admi door se poochte the: Kya ladka hai?
Hum jaye kashmere gate ya rajokri iske aadmi sab jagah hote pure puri.
Duniya hai iski muthi mein, duniya hai iski taqdeer isne doosrein ki taqdeer likhna samjha hai apni pehili laqeer.
Aao isko salam karein aur salaam karein iski paise ki taqat ko. Himachali Naukar kya boora hai. Ghar ke kaam bhi kar dega aur Kamata bhi hai. Perhaps this Himachali don is preparing himself to adorn the mantle as the search for the boy would eventually lead to him. The search for the boy is so frantic from his side (day in day out) that finally all gates would lead to him and the intruder don would have to settle for him. Finally you are in Trymabek or in Nagar, this paapi munim has set his men on you. Had toh tab ho gayee jab Tryamek mein isne kisi tenant se saat dino tak foot thumping karaye din or raat. After all his paisa bolta ha aur log bikte hai.
Isne doosro ko khareedene mein maharathi hasil ki hai aur apne millionaire naukar se city ke taqdeer badalni chahi hai. Iska paisa aur iski majboori vashtraheen ho kar baitha hai. Agar kapde pehne hote toh aisi paapi harkatein na karte. Karle doosro ke ghar mein aisi harkatein jis paise ke dum par karta hain vaar wohi paisa tujhe karayega sahi pechhan.
Agar mehnat ki kamaio hoti toh doosro ke ghar mein ghoodsne ki koshish nahin karta. Gaaliya saghar aur sahar ke bahar nahin karta aur gande kaam nahi karta. Paapi paisa hai na tabhi to tune doosre ko khareeda.

Accommodation in Ahmednagar: Scaling the wall of uncertainty by Puneet Rajhans
Accommodation in Ahmednagar
This is a tale that has fewer missing links. Whenever I have made a successful attempt to reach A’nagar, the first wall of uncertainty has to do with securing an accommodation which won’t be hard on my pockets. The budget, linked to the duration of stay, and on most of the occasions the stay stretching between a week to a fortnight, the mandatory adjustments have to be factored in.
The first hurdle to be scaled is on the identity front, as the solitary state of affairs doesn’t shower me with any measurable benefits; in fact acting as a big impediment. The man on the other side of the desk runs a quick and clinical check on how blissful/rewarding is my appearance from top to toe and once assured of my ability to furnish the requisite cash for the entire stay takes the level of interaction to the next stage. Protestations followed with furnishing of identity card and the fickle-cum-roaming assignments I handle doesn’t make him an assured entity with the sole concern being to fleece to the maximum from one who has minimum foundation. Even Exasperation looks doesn’t force him to drop the shrewd quotient by a point or two as he is well within his right to fleece and seize.
Coming to the different situations, if the room rent is inexorably high, the first commitment from my side is to leave the premises and begin the search afresh for livable accommodation. If at other points the man is comfortable enough with my checking in as a sole bird, I am least comfortable with the rate he has suggested.
Negotiations not even half way through I move to the next destination and this not-so-endearing tale finally comes to an end at a place where post furnishing of identity papers and room rent the negotiated rate is for a room that is miniscule in size, located at the far end of the structure and more likely just below the terrace. Settled, the pattern of adjustments come in close quarters with myself just tuned to the prospects of keeping glued to the proceedings at the temple and more oblivious to the unwelcome developments in and around my room. On a macro scale, with accommodation question settled all missing links start falling in place, beginning with the meals that come with greater ease. The Prasadalaya is the one to get the meals from and once the commute hurdle is crossed, the meals are one of the best relishing components of stay.
The next hurdle to be crossed is the extension and this followed by places I should visit for a duration of three to four days in between so as to enable me to return to the old place to ensure an elaborate stay in the spiritual hotspot. Amidst this churns and turns the nagging issue has been and quite noticeable is the inappropriate nature of the hotelwallahs whenever I have taken a room. It is essentially to do with the havoc they unleash. The floor above the room I stay is hit hard for long durations. The thumping of the floor above my room for long hours has become a recurring habit and be it day or in the middle of night the thumping is their birthright. The saving grace being i leave the hotel room between 1 and 3 in the morning so whatever intentional disturbance they wish to create the hours at their disposal are limited. Here I need to be aloof to the proceedings and try to see this unsettled terrain as something unavoidable. This time as well, this happened with me repeatedly in A’gar, Trimabakeshwar and again in A’gar. This at least assured me that trouble mongers are in the nearby areas of the accommodation point and here I need to keep my cool come what may.
As for the exorbitant hotel rates the fleecing is rampant, given the simple accommodations I get in. The rates are too high to be entertained is precisely because of the vast sums furnished by the tribe which doesn’t give a damn to the tariffs and how this would keep them aloof from ever doing a reality check of comprehensively hurting the prospects of those who wish to procrastinate their departure. Burning cash for short stay of few hours is their preferred mantra.
As for those looking for stay beyond fortnight or a month they should be prepared to face a grind of a different nature. A grind that is least appreciable. Hope things turn for better and hotelwallahs stop taking recourse to tactics of thumping the floor of the room above you just for the sake of fun for which they have assured vast sums. Hope things get better in the ensuing period.

Stalking Rent and bus ride by Puneet Rajhans
Stalking Rent
As i left Nagar for city there were multiple stalkers on the bus and in the nearby traceable areas who were quite heavy and busy. First about the Neeta bus service. THe guy who runs this bus service needs to be made to understand that nothing succeeds more than an appreciable bus service than letting ruffians dominate the proceedings for entire commute. And this is precisely what happenned when i boarded the bus which should not have been boarded in the first second and third place. The boss needs to be hauled up. Because the driver was the other monster who was not even aware that thick plumes of dust were getting into the air conditioned bus and this status made it more amenable for dust particles to settle in and giving more leg space to the man on the wheels to add to the misery by updating his skills of driving rashly. These drivers of private buswallahs are a law unto themselves - and they give a damn to traffic rules. Essentially this observation stems from my over 17 years of travelling on national and state highways. And here lies the soothing take to this unpalatable proceeding. The best part is RR Services and Konduskar bus services have begun their operations and hope they would be better in their conduct and true to their verification.
Before writing about the untamed tribe of stalkers a word or two on accommodation in Nagar. Accommodation has always been and would be a big issue in Nagar because the authorities have for the past three decades literally shut their eyes and ears to the way the unchecked commercial development (hotels and one to seven night accommodation points) has come up in the spiritual centre. They charge unimaginable exorbitant rate and expect you to check out before the designated time and with no extra wait. It is true of 90 per cent of hotels in the spiritual town; grim reminder to the way things have panned out in the past seven to eight years. Except for the Samadhi Mandir and Dwarkamai and Chavadi nothing radiates the Sadguru's blessings and his spreading waves. The very fact that they don't connect to prayer connect (four times a day) makes them more amenable to such acts of impropriety. Had they been remotely associated with prayer connect sessions even once a day or alternate days, the commercial signposts would have been least visible. Not stopping at exorbitant rates, most hotelwallahs would deliberately let someone continuously thump the floor above your room all day and night so that they can make you understand that those with deep kala pockets can wreak havoc as large army of unemployed are willing to give you a ride that would be an unpardonable sight. Hurling filthy abuse in accommodation points outside Capital gives the Intruder Munim King the shelf life and gnawing realisation that unlimited moolah would give him the gear to shake the simple foundation of others.
The stay in the Capital in the past five years have been a torment of sorts given the untamed usage of unaccounted moolah that has led to an entire tribe of stalkers get into the groove day and night. And this was the concern high on my mind as my stay in Nagar was drawing to a close.
As i checked out of innumerable accommodations i stayed in, the man sitting in a dhaba showed his reflex action as if he was just waiting for me and my destination. He gave a long stare from a distance and was immediately on a cell probably with a message to tell. Same thing happened in Nashik where a man repeatedly came to the front side of the bus and repeatedly shouted that the bus was meant to proceed towards one particular destination. How could you dismiss it as a coincidence that the morning meals you have in a joint followed by the wait for the bus at a travel agent office the same bunch of men appear with stalking rhyme. Not once but repeatedly.
I just fail to understand what these stalkers want to achieve. Their masters are monsters and mark my words all their patronisers would suffer and generations after generations in their family would be stalked and their receding, rocking fort rocked.
As the bus left Nagar for the city , some stalkers were sitting next to me and finding the situation quite pretty. As the bus entered the periphery, one stalker changed his seat and was on a cell to his patroniser whom he wanted to greet.
I knew the destination they were supposed to get down so i deliberately remained put inside the bus for long so that i could escape from their frown. Even though i got to the accommodation, by morning i had known the stalkers had got to know my place of three day admission. It was an awful sight and in the stations and the locals they gave me an admonishable fright.
Stalkers and their patronisers, as some suggested in the bus, be firmly told that they should look beneath their homes and dirty conduct that continues under their nose. What your sons, son-deprived status men, servants and daughter indulge in you should clinically look at that instead of wasting your kala dhan on keeping a tab on someone's travel acts. Criminal Intruder King and his illegitimate band of henchmen including the servant-turned-sons have enough money lure to make others to fall to their bait - reflected through acts of untamed taling others outside Capital - and let the acts of impropriety take a new face. You would suffer and that is for sure as nothing would make you amend as you have enough money lure. Time is the sole factor that is making you not differentiate between good and bad as stalking and torturing are vices that are fast losing fad.
By the way how could stalking be possible in spiritual centres? THe fact of the matter is some people haven't had a developed mind and with an undeveloped mind and finding thrilling such stalking grind as it gives them enough moolah which they can't make in the entire season of hulla and gulla. So stalkers would thrive as the time is on their side but a day would come when they would have to repent as these very vices would grip their generations whose elders have grown on kala dhan and the money they gave to large army of unemployed youth as stalking rent.
As i returned to the Capital, the first hour was spent in the station to get me some breathing space from the stalking battle that was supposed to get into the familiar race. Things hadn't changed a bit and by evening the stalkers and their monster bosses were getting into acts of shameless intrusion and demonstration. The next few days are hard which my bus colleagues have told me but things can be managed as another spiritual outing could be on the cards.

Though Cricket India has made it to the Quarters, even before the Windies contest came along, the one against the Aussies could be easily managed if Cricket India stays assidiously strong. The outing against the Aussies won't be an out and out cakewalk for either side but as one's hunch suggests India would scrape through with no big seamers rocking their fort. The contest at Motera has chances of keeping you tied to your seats and the final picture would be one where Cricket India would be handing out a complete defeat to Cricket Australia. Ravichandran Aswin would be the key and as prayers went before his last two deliveries the batsmen logically fell to his knees.
Though Proteas have the surest chance of going past semi final stage, the one they are going to meet against is something that we have to wait.
It is strain on my eyes as i write this . This essay would be completed once the good vibes begin to flow with ease.

Approaching Bhusaval + by Puneet Rajhans
Approaching Bhusaval+ by Puneet Rajhans
When i was approaching Bhusaval, some could be spotted grappling with innumerable acts of survival, essentially conveyed through feats of wrapping themselves in a towel. Morning blues hadn't entirely gone away with some having yet to clear the morning sensation and thus got into the natural bowel fray. Bhusaval Station may have been the destination but for sometime i was thinking about Asansol visitation. The place i visited few months ago and the enriching meals i took that gave my stomach the full flow. That season after three hours wait a train came to take me to Howrah which was my week's stay of awakening and a build up of a new era. As these thoughts ran through my mind and Bhusaval still away more than quarter of a mile, i spotted wagons which had Asansol etched on its cabins.
There were over 40 wagons probably emanating from Asansol head station and waiting to offload at Bhusaval the destination. That moment i hoped i would be in Asansol some day just to check the meals and climate an exercise few could flay. The thrust to travel and tryst with destinations would continue for long, after all this is the way to get away from the demons of stalkers who don't perform for a song. As i got down at Bhusaval, the following stations, namely Jalgaon, Chalisgaon, Nandgaon and beyond were other likely destinations. The train was proceeding towards Mumbai and all passengers were caught up in acts of time pass; some playing cards and some throwing their hearts. I, for one, could ill-afford the two as fatigue had started showing my body blues. Some moments later i had fulsome curd followed by a shared taxi ride and what after that i experienced was something i can't hide (the body had to bear and tear). Exhausted to a point i looked for meals at a Madras joint only to discover that roads had been dug up and the passage had become an unnerving set-up. THe stay was close to a week and the searing heat hadn't assumed the full feat. A more than a week later after the Tryambek Tryst when i returned to the same place, the searing feat had become the destination's enduring fate. THe remarks register was missing for some days when you had meals meant for the masses; after all who would give a thought to what pilgrims have experienced when heat is extremely turbulent. The stay was short and swift and the developing environs equally ripe and robust.
THis stay gave me innumerable chances to ponder on how i stayed in the same enriching place in the months of March and April some years ago when the heat showed no mercy and rains rarely felled and flowed. That apart, the stay then was quite scintillating , after all we are all born to live and let live is the reigning setting.
Perhaps the next destination could be in the West after i have returned from the National Capital where i have to save myself from innumerable stalking battle (stalking was too much rampant in Tryambek) and fuming rage rattle. Asansol may also come along in the near future if not the West, after all meals and climate have to be studied of whether they have lived up to expected gear. These destinations are the way to check the pulse of the nation and yet testify to the fact that meals and accommodation are Lord's reigning gift and determination.
Coming to the more serious issue of those grappling with innumerable acts of survival illustrated through their untamed knack of getting wrapped in a towel. That is the only way they can travel. They unfurl the fabric if and when any destination approaches which stores some magic. THese towel travellers have stood the test of times and have a weighty agenda given their nonsensical funda. In the season of searing heat and shared taxi ride fleet, towel travellers unwrap themselves with ease when they have to take a shower and again wrapped in towel siege they hop on to the shared taxi fleet. Hopping from one taxi to another all wrapped up in a towel gives them the freedom to exercise their right to any shape, size and colour of fabric that they should adorn after all fewer fabric takes away the lethargy and compels them to carpet bomb. The towel travellers would grow as a tribe as searing heat would become difficult to dodge and plausibly give them more followers to watch.
As these views get expressed and i get an express message that i need to maintain cool in all times of adversity, probably the strength comes from the Lord's blessings and his guidance towards what is sacred and what are acts of shrewd. Thanks for watching us /stalking us is something i have been hearing for long. But i fail to understand that though the entire tribe is not tainted (just a handful or at the most one or two ) and they keep repeatedly themselves associated with them for fun.
Probably the gnawing realisation is not there that nothing floats better than honesty and faith howsoever hard some may try to rock your will and gait. Time would fly and travel plans would be made but all that would be done with the intent that limited resources don't go waste. As i took the taxi the other day, myself being the solitary occupant, i just looked back at the past 30 days and how eventful they have been for the sheer fact that meals and accommodation could be managed with Lord's continuning reign. The sight next to the C'gate wasn't that appealing as the searing heat made it mandatory for me to take a hasty retreat. June would be the time to hit the city with a new frame of mind as that was the time when i discovered the best charm and shine. Some looks are amazing and some disappear with an expressive gait, probably the city gives you more than it takes. Best wishes to the City of Ganesha and best wishes to its teeming populace; the charm and the fabric that most endure and are in the race.

Access to a morning paper and scorecard
Access to a morning paper and scorecard
As i get access to a morning paper that gives you break up of a Saturday match fever, i am reminded of how vulnerable Cricket India is against formidables. Topping the table where West Indies and South Africa have yet to equal India's 5 match participation just goes on to show how points have been raised by getting minnows who could not create much sensation. Some would have suggested it to be a cracker of a contest against Proteas but the way the batting line up threw up in despair gives the shudder of who would have done the repair had Sachin, S'wag and G'tam scores been not a commanding share. The fall began from the 39th over and in less than 10 overs Cricket India going beyond 300 would have looked like they doing themselves a big favour. Virat made one, Harbhajan three and Zaheer, Asish, Munaf none. That is how the scorecard read and gave Proteas more than an outside chance to see Cricket India in completely red. Hash 61, Graeme 16, Kallis 69 made the opposition side lose its shine. Though entry to Quarterfinals has been breached (looks to be) but it could still be an insurmountable odd when they face Kiwis and they could literally sneeze. A good outing against Windies could be a good moral support otherwise they are in for dwindling local bloat.
Dhoni has chided the team for playing for the crowd rather than the country and herein lies Cricket India's root of misery. Had IPL bus been abandoned for long, the team members would not have swayed to beats of spectators and would have rallied to the cause of Cricket India's lasting upswing.
At 257 for one in 38.4 overs, those suggesting that Cricket India would post 400 plus total were living in fool's paradise as some including me believed that breaching 300 could still be a big battle and if it happens it would be a big surprise if Proteas won. Returning after two hours interval to the travelwallah office when Proteas were 60 for one and seeing Cricket India bundled out for 296 with four scoring none, i assumed the battle the Proteas had almost won. Thirteen to get in six, the Proteas in 4 balls made a clean sweep.
The lesson to be registered: The batting and bowling are failing and it is only improvised reverse batting from the likes of de villiers that is reigning. Let us hail his feat and hope Cricket India has reservoir of pride to play for the country and give us a treat.

Approaching Bhusaval by Puneet Rajhans
When i was approaching Bhusaval, some could be spotted grappling with innumerable acts of survival, essentially conveyed through feats of wrapping themselves in a towel. Morning blues hadn't entirely gone away with some having yet to clear the morning sensation and thus got into the natural bowel fray.
