Staying in Jodhpur; Visiting Bank; Visiting Airport

Friday evening i have Janta thali from Janta Sweet Home in Sojati Gate. This Janta Sweet Home has some of the best food in the city. He talks about Sajjangarh in Udaipur which has enough greenery. Mr Kishan is doing general nursing and midwifery course to become a male nurse. It is a three year course. Meet Mr Ramesh Kumar who has acquired Civil Engineering diploma and hails from Barmer. Meet Saraswati as well in the mini bus who was born in Jodhpur.

According to Mr Kishan,  Surya Namkeen in Jalori Gate offers samosa for 5 rs and when it goes to Russia it is 300 rs a piece. According to him the places to see in Jodhpur are Mehrangarh Fort,  Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park,   Unmaid Palace, Ghantaghar bazar the latter known for cheap items. I visit HDFC Bank Chopasni Road branch. Meet Savita near HDFC Bank. In HDFC bank there is Ms Sonal Singhal,  Mr Amit Jiwani. Mr Bhanwar Singh is a Security Guard and so is Mr Shravan Kumar. A request to get withdrawal slip is accepted after i furnish Pan Card  copy and Voter Identity card copy. After getting the work done i hail an auto driven by Automan Mr Brijmohan Sharma and take a ride from HDFC Bank to Jalori Gate.

Going to Airport

After visiting bank i return to Jalori Gate only to leave for Jodhpur Airport a little later. Take bus number 2 to Airport. Going past R B Tutorials. Directions showing Sirohi, Pali, Ahmedabad. A board shows Barmer 203 kms. In the bus i meet Mr Tejesh Bamboo studying in Jai Narayan Vishvidyalaya. Meet a boy from Bishnoi educational institute. Meet Ms Shabnam, Ms Saiyda Bano both hailing from minority section. Meet Mr Govardhan Ram who owns land in his village near Pipar city. Meet Mr Ramdev born in Nagaur taking coaching for REET. Meet Mr Budh Ram born in Bikaner now staying in Jodhpur. I am told in Bikaner the fort to see is Junagarh fort and Bikaner happens to be 200kms from Jodhpur. Meet Mr Ramlal Khandelwal who has spent 67 years in Jodhpur. While taking meals from Janta Sweet Home i happen to meet Mr Chaman Singh and Mr Ankur Gupta. Mr Chaman Singh happen to be from Dehradun and working in Punjab and  Sind Bank near Patiala in Punjab. The place where he works he says a large full house with different floors can be taken on rent for a little over 7000rs a month. Something you will find hard to locate in Delhi and the outskirts. Both of the boys are on their way to explore different places in Rajasthan. Both agree with me that Delhi has a rude imprint. Mr Ankur Gupta has been to Ladakh and the mode of transport that he took from Delhi was a bus which took over two days to reach Leh. Mr Ankur Gupta working in IT Sector in Gurgaon hails from Haridwar. They are in the know of a gentleman who writes travel blog. Mr Ankur Gupta appreciates the efforts taken by Delhi Government to improve the functioning of government schools. He agrees with me there was no need to raise metro fare in Delhi. As we part ways i suggest to Mr Chaman Singh to apply Betnovate-N with cotton on his face and that would help him to control pimples.
Meet Mr Murlidhar selling fruits at Sojati Gate. Meet Automan Yaya Khan. Meet Mr Ghanshyam selling fruits at Jalori Gate. Meet Mr Jaman Das born in Jodhpur. Meet Mr Khemraj, Mr Dinesh, both driving autos and Mr Pawna near Baba Tea Stall.

While waiting for public transport on Sunday i happen to meet Malaysian couple Mr and Mrs Eikkokkue. They have been to Delhi, Varanasi, Agra, Jaipur, Udaipur and were now in Jodhpur and from here planning to go to Jaisalmer. I tell Mr Eikkokkue about Mr Mahathir Mohammad who was at helm of affairs in Malaysia at some point of time. I happen to meet Mr Shiano from Bajrang Pan Bhandar who was very down to earth. At another level the ruling party in Rajasthan is in for a big challenge likely to see it perform poorly if it does not bring a change of guard in Rajasthan State.
