He has studied in Chennai and Mumbai and he does not lose an opportunity to say that he knows India quite well. He is a doctor. At present Ms Ruha is taking coaching from Jamia Millia Islamia for civil services. Lodging and coaching is free she has to pay only for mess charges. This benefit has been extended to those students belonging to minority section. It is a welcome move. This will be Ms Ruha's  third attempt at civil services.  Meet Mr Hitesh Yadav who has done graduation from Jamia. At present taking coaching for Combined Defence Services exam as well as civil services exam. His father happens to be in Delhi Police.

Delhi Metro fare should be in the slab of Rs 10, 20 and 30
We are in August Kranti Marg at 12.10. It turns left to Siri Fort Road Goes past Kamala Nehru College, Golden Jubilee Year Gargi College. Next comes Siri Fort Crossing, turns right. Half km long vehicle queue. Spot Green corridor. People selling different wares at traffic light to earn a livelihood. They need to be encouraged. We are in Josef Titoo Marg, Birla Vidya Niketan at 12.31. In the bus meet a man from Balasore in Orissa state. We are in Mehrauli-Badarpur Road at 12.34. Goes past Basist Complex, G - Block Dakshinpuri at 12.38. There is an ad of teen saal mein hua kamal (In three years our record speaks for itself). Advertisement of Delhi Govt completing three years in office. Perhaps the Union Government in consultation with Delhi State Government should keep the metro fare fixed at Rs 10, 20 and 30 slab. The opening of metro line linking North Campus and South Campus should be without glitches and highest fare fixed at 30 rs. Bringing this mode of transport to the common man should be the priority instead of letting only fewer sections take advantage of it.
Goes past BSF Area, New Delhi Institute of Management, ITBP Tigri Camp, Jamia Hamdard at 12.42.  Air Force Station Tughlaqabad 12.45, goes past Make Delhi traffic free switch to public transport advertisement. Perhaps doing away with big cars should be the first step towards lifting Delhi the city out of traffic rigmarole.  The bus breaks down. We all change to another bus. Prahladpur comes at 1 pm, Badarpur at 1.05. Here i meet Mr Sanoj Kumar a water man from Supaul in Bihar. Perhaps fielding a man from minority section in Araria constituency in Bihar could have given hope to right wing alliance. One need to take the minorities in confidence if one has to really do well at the hustings. At another level Secretary of State Mr Rex Tillerson should have been allowed to continue in office.

Took potato patties from Fast track snack point near Badarpur metro station. Meet Mr Prem Singh.
As you enter the metro station you come across "For the wise man looks into space and he knows there is no limited editions". Advertise here.
Ad in Badarpur metro station. Don't be in rat race. Drive with grace.
There is another ad. Walk into a different era at every turn in UNESCO heritage city, Ahmedabad featuring Mr Amitabh Bachchan. He endorsing the tourist spots in Gujarat has brought windfall to the state. A state which one relishes to travel and discover.
Took metro from Badarpur at 1.23. Goes past Tughlaqabad metro station. Took metro from Mohan Estate at 1.43. Goes past Sarita Vihar, Jasola, Okhla, Govindpuri, Kalkaji Mandir, Nehru Place. Meet a family from Italy comprising Mr Rodrigo, Ms Sara, Mr Onorio, Mr Riccardo and Ms Giancarla. They flew from Bologna to Rome and from Rome to New Delhi. Mr Rodrigo is a civil engineer in Italy. They  have been to Udaipur, Agra and Jaipur and flying in a day or two to Italy. Economy in Italy and baby steps it is taking to recover the lost ground do figure in the conversation. He said one should visit the North East to experience different flavours of India. Meet Mr Shravan from Assam. In the metro ride i happen to meet Mr J Chakma and Mr Bidoo Chakma, both from Tripura. The decisive verdict in the state of Tripura is what we discuss with the right wing party romping home with a good margin. The Left has still managed a vote share of over 40 per cent despite a complete rout at the polls. Perhaps it will take years turning to decades for Left to gain gain power in the State if the right wing party provides good governance without hurting the sentiments of any section. In the metro ride i happen to meet  some people from Kashmir who were here to appear for interview in APCO Infrastructure Limited. Some among them happen to be Mr Bilal Hussain Shah from Anantnag which is 55 kms from Srinagar, Mr Mohammad Ashraf Sheikh from Baramullah and Mr Ashiq Hussain Para from Sopian.

Meeting Mr Nainwal and Mr Aditya
I also happen to meet Mr Prakash Nainwal who has done Msc from NIT Warangal and preparing for CSIR exam/ Gate exam to become eligible to pursue PhD from  IIT. Mr Nainwal spoke how people in Delhi were not able to place Warangal in Telangana. There is Mr Utkarsh Aditya from Buxar who has done 10+2 from Hyderabad and at present pursuing law from Jindal Institute in Sonepat. One has to clear LSAT exam to become eligible for scholarship. What i could understand from the conversation was he was eligible for scholarship between 30 to 40 per cent.

Meeting Ms Iqra and other girls from minority section
Meet Ms Iqra and other girls hailing from minority section. I tell them about Ms Ruha who has been taking coaching for civil services from Jamia Millia Islamia. I tell the girls i have high regards for people from the minorities. Meet three boys from Tibet working in Berkos restaurant in Connaught place serving Chinese and Thai food. They say they can visit Tibet on a tourist visa but that too is a risky proposition.  A time would come when Tibet would have to  be given some form of democracy as investments would start pouring in and that would raise large number of people from poverty levels which is quite high in the area. Also happen to meet Mr Saddam, Mr Ibrahim, Mr Raza, Mr Arif, Mr Haider all hailing from Pali in Rajasthan State. They were visiting New Delhi and had gone to Meena Bazar in Jama Masjid area of Delhi.

Heavy rush in AIIMS and Safdarjung hospitals; Mr Ananta from West Bengal told to come after one month
It was on a Monday i decided to visit Gopinath Bazar in Delhi Cantt. While going towards Nauroji Nagar bus stand i happen to meet Mr Ananta Baidya from West Bengal. He has burning sensation in his stomach  and has health issues for which he visited Safdarjung hospital and All India Institute of  Medical Sciences (AIIMS). In AIIMS he was told to come after one month. In both the hospitals there was heavy rush and that is a perfect ground for Delhi to have another AIIMS. Take bus number 724 at 12.30 Reach Dhaula Kuan at 12.45. Take bus number 740 at 12.50. Going past Delhi Cantonment Board welcomes you. We serve for better civic life. Deboard at Garrison Engineer  west Delhi Cantt which has Gopinath Bazar in its vicinity. Visit Aggarwal Sweets and from Baker's Bite have veg patty which is something to relish. At the tea stall run by Mr Amar Singh the tea is great. At Brij Lal Dua Marg wait for the bus that would take me to New Delhi Railway Station. Take a bus to Dhaula Kuan and from there take another bus to Jhandewalan metro station. Visit Hanuman Temple which has a Hanuman statue fairly long. Take metro from there and on the way meet Mr Ken and Mrs Bella Ken who are from Nigeria. In the metro ride i come across two girls from Mizoram a state in the north east. The discussion with them can hardly take place as they are in no mood to speak and spell.

While visiting a private bank in Deer Park in Safdarjung Enclave happen to meet Mr Lal Singh a parking attendant. At the counter in the bank there was a message please count and check your notes before leaving the counter. Any claim made thereafter will not be entertained. The footfall that this bank has on occasions is fairly less. In St. Thomas Church opposite Safdarjung Enclave there is a notice board. New Delhi Young Men's Christian Association organising Tribal Festival on February 18. While coming from bank i happen to meet Mr Raghu from Tamil Nadu state. Meet Mr Gurung from Darjeeling. Meet Mr Kenan Sarangi studying in Springdales School in Dhaula Kuan and he hails from Orissa state. At Bhikaji Cama Place meet Mr Naresh Valecha and Mr Aneerodh who do the necessary formating to my laptop. Meet Mr Sanmukh.

Meet Mr Kasar from Manipur taking coaching for SSC exams.Meet Mr Humayun from Dwarka in Safdarjung Enclave, Mr Bhishambar Das from Gwalior. Meet Mr Vijender and Mr Yohan from Manipur studying in a school in New Delhi. Happen to meet Mr Sartaj who is channel partner of Tata Motors in Anantnag in Kashmir in India. He has come with his family to visit Delhi and its tourist spots. The DGCA coming heavily on airlines with non functional engines is a right move as safety of passengers should be the prime consideration. Perhaps flights emanating from Hong Kong and Singapore airports should set a new benchmark when it comes to securing the premises and frisking of passengers is concerned.

Plastics take years to break down in environment
I had the opportunity to watch Loafer movie on Gemini TV on Feb 18, Jomonte Suviseshangal on Mazhavil Manorama on Feb 18, Mani Paya Tamil song on DD Podhigai channel. Oorai Suttri Paakkalam that too on DD Podhigai. Al Jazeera channel had a story on plastic contamination. Plastic contamination extends to worldwide tap water supplies. Seventy five per cent of ocean fish contain  plastics in their stomach. Eight million tonnes of plastic is dumped in oceans every year. Plastics can take hundreds of years to break down in environment. The same channel had a story on Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India gas pipeline scheduled to be completed by 2020. How many investors it would be able to rope in is yet to figure out. In Kuyil Thoppu aired on DD Podhigai there were different singers like Dhni, Raja, Mega, Chandni and Nava. Meet Mr Shaminuddin the automan.
In all the interactions and the rides across National Capital of Delhi gave a sense that India is large sporting a fabric that weans people from different territories and could very well throw a fractured mandate at the hustings which would give way to wannabe Queens and Kings. The newspapers in the capital splashed with ads on cars and caretakers shows the traffic and the alarming rise of speedbreakers. Driving with grace is least seen; driving in haste is the radiating theme. As TV news channels across country try to figure out polls and pulse there would be parties who would try to be away from a position of sulk. Parties would battle it out at the hustings even in the backdrop of a budget that is shoestring.
