Manifestos Mayhem In A Season Of Poll EVM (Electronic Voting Machine)

In A Season of Manifesto (Manifesto of a political party in India are a series papers compiled in a booklet meant to guide voters on what a political party intends to do if it has a chance to be in power)  some are guarded by a large number of personnel who go by the name Christo. After Grand Old Party released its manifesto some began to freeze in poll breeze. In all 487 promises have been made which shows the political party's reluctance to shed power that it craves as if it is its enduring fate. Filling 24 lakh govt vacancies would make fiscal deficit go off target this what the manifesto speaks about and the party intends to harvest. Time and again one and all have realised the political parties manifestos are meant to woo voters and befool them by different range of politicos who are by no means quitters. Manifestos would come and crawl in a nation where bystanders get in a brawl.

Provision of Rs 72,000 a year to those below poverty line would be something hard to get/accumulate and in all likelihood cross the fiscal indiscipline line. Cash transfer of 72K would see none other political parties join the fray and would be a monumental blunder repeated every year calendar. Names all of a sudden would crop up to figure in the 20 per cent population tag and these and other reminders would be enough indications of entire exercise developing a snag.

A separate Kisan Budget or giving healthcare a passing mention is all part of this manifesto, had the party intent been clear, healthcare for all should have been the top most priority with no fear. These manifestos are prepared by mavericks who have no pulse of the nation and they seem relaxed in AC rooms with no thoughts on those who live amidst sand dunes. Rebels would recoil in joy having seen the script, the time is waiting for them to upstage those who carry party symbol and in a state of ennui. The road to 2019 is paved with enough party bloopers; the road to sanctity is baked with party troopers. As roadshows and road rage in cities and towns would become a recurring sight, it is time for law enforcers to be on the guard and dish out their visiting card.
