How Virginia Turned Solid Blue as reported in NYT made interesting reading. Essentially enlisting the foray that Democrats are making into Republicans stronghold.
Guns and Goons is something that residents are concerned about and how this should be nipped in the bud is a question that remains largely unanswered.
At another level, Virginia as reported in the paper is a land of Indian Grocery Stores, Diwali Festivals and Korean Churches. At present, One in 10 eligible to vote is born outside the US as against One in 28 in 1990. The influx of immigrants paved way for Democrats upswing and just 64 per cent of the population is white.
From my side what i can envisage is that A Wave is coming and that is out to sweep the entire nation.
