Property tax paid for A 1/276 Safdarjang Enclave New Delhi House for 2021-2022 to SDMC (South Delhi Municipal Corporation)

I paid property tax for A 1/276 Safdarjang Enclave New Delhi for 2021-2022 to SDMC on June 19 2021.  The property tax was paid by senior citizen Gauri Shankar Rajhans who is 83 years old. This was paid for 2021-2022 online. There was one change made in property tax detail. The covered area while filing property tax last year was mentioned 200 sq metre which was incorrect. Perhaps rebate also did not come my way. This led to payment of higher property tax for 2020-2021 which was Rs 38910. Besides that the circle rate prevailing that time was high. This lumpsum figure was high as covered area was not mentioned correctly, circle rate was high and more than one floor was occupied by tenant. 

The correct covered area is 130.06 sq metre. There is site plan/ map for A 1/276 Safdarjang Enclave to support actual covered area which is 130.06 sq metre. There is another change. The second floor is vacant at present which was occupied by tenant last year while filing property tax for 2020-2021. There is rent agreement to support this. These are changes that have been made . No exemption has been sought except for the fact that property tax has been filed by a senior citizen which has come out to be Rs 19402. The  transaction ID is 1624100912222.  The house for which property tax has been filed is over 43 years old. I understand the lower property tax is to do with the fact that covered area has been mentioned correctly that is 130.06 sq metre, one less floor is occupied by tenant and for these i have site plan/map and rent agreement to support this. Besides the low circle rate which was not there last year and is there this year has also led to lower tax. I have stated facts to the best of my knowledge and pure and simple facts have been put on table. Being a senior citizen i am also entitled for rebate. I have brought out these facts before SDMC in an e mail sent on June 20, 2021 to email id support-sdmc@mcd.nic.in and there has been no response from other end. 

I am putting these facts in the blog so that i am not made to run from pillar to post to give clarification as all facts have been shared in an open email.
