Visiting Lord Venkateswara Lord Govinda Temple In New Delhi

Visiting Lord Venkateswara Lord Govinda Temple In New Delhi

Trials and tribulations of staying in a big city brings a host of issues, some commendable and some inviting giggle. As one steps out of home with the avowed aim of reaching varied destinations the connectivity goads you to take a long walk and you don't necessarily baulk. A metro station that looks miles and miles away from your place is best accessed by auto, some flanked by happiness and least showing signs of hysteria; some wishing to make that much so that they could spend endless moments in riviera. Once having accessed metro station you occasionally come across gentlemen drawing pension. Pensioners may have a mixed opinion about metro ride as there have been no moments when a group has engaged in a fight. You have men, women and babies boarding a metro coach some destined to slouch. Some are tied to their smartphones listening to debates on the impending shrill campaign as if they are in their homes. A metro ride may have an aura of invincibility but when it is crammed it invites hostility. Filled to the rafters the onset of winter months may see some wearing sweaters. And that would be the one when metro would be in dire need of tutors. Even then a cramped metro may have no look of a retro. Metro may be self sufficient to pay monthly compensation to its staff; time would come when they would break into merriment post intake of blaff. Futuristic Metro Mores may come under scanner given the load it takes eventually bringing under its ambit long distance runner.

As I left home at 8.47 am it was automan Mr Pervez who took me to INA Metro Station and boarding the metro coach at 9.01 with none looking grum. Reach Lord Hanuman Temple at 9.25 and leave the premises at 9.30 with none getting haughty. Board metro to R K Ashram Marg Station and reach Mandir Marg at 9.45, Kali Bari Marg at 10 and Kali Bari Temple at 10.03 with little stairs to ascent and they were free. Leave temple at 10.12 and reach Lord Venkateswara Temple in Udhyan Marg near Mandir Marg at 10.15 with the sighting of the Lord that had a glow and has followers in millions abroad. Lord Venkateswara looked resplendent giving wings to the prayers who were in attendance.

Lord Venkateswara looked to be cheerful and for a moment it seemed as if I was viewing Lord Venkateswara Idol of Tirumala which is thousand miles away from Delhi where occasionally people play musical instrument viola. Post sighting of the Lord board auto at 10.37 and go past Talkatora Road, Gurdwara Rakabganj Road, PTI Sansad Marg (Parliament Street), Rafi Marg having sighted Amby  (Ambassador Car DL 2CAH 0008) which was not pitch dark. Go past Sunehari Bagh Road, Tuglak Road and Safdarjung Flyover and reach home at 10.55 reliving the moments when I thrived. It was a day when RK Ashram Marg To Mandir Marg To Udhyan Marg in the city of Delhi were accessed with no stress. It was a day when Lord Hanuman, Goddess Kali and Lord Venkateswara Temples were accessed and triumph of exceptional moments stressed.
