Taking Train To RMM From Chennai Egmore

Having reached Chennai Egmore, the auto I boarded seemed to be on a fast track and I almost getting waylaid as the auto guy was out to make a fast buck. He probably realised I was new to the city and he took a circuitous route to reach Chennai Egmore the city that was least expected to get its share of furore. Having stayed in the city the entire Sunday, I made two rounds of Chennai Egmore Station to figure out the possibility of getting a porter the coming Monday for a train that had commenced its journey on Saturday. On Monday, as I left Tourist Home, I made note of Tamil Nadu Police Department guy in plain clothes occupying room 306 from Saturday onwards and another guy replacing him on Sunday night banging doors and the lift.I somehow managed to gain reprieve; however long spell of heat may have been, some having delusions and likely to crib after getting the brief. Having reached Chennai Egmore Station by 9 AM there was no porter to be found and there is prepaid AC Waiting Hall and this may not reap a rich haul.

It doesn't make sense to run this train from North, more it would get a window of eminence if the train originated during morning hours from Chennai Egmore and reached RMM by evening and this set of journey one can endure.
