Clear and present danger

Clear and present danger

There is a clear and more than crystal clear attempt to get the 5000-odd recordings relating to Radia and conversations of others buried under the mammoth weight of Wikileaks attempt to publish 251287 leaked US embassy cables.

THe new revelations from Wikileaks which it says is the largest to date to come out in the public domain is a fresh attempt to push Radia tapes to history. The focus is bound to shift and so are the revelations coming from Radia bound to disappear. Wikileaks showed appropriate concern over unforeseen cyber attack as it was about to publish the confidential communication which would no longer remain confidential if it succeeded in publishing them. The exercise is supposedly to last for a week. So for a week in the face of Wikileaks reports the Radia controversy and the mayhem resulting from it and other extraneous factors in Parliament would take a backseat. That is the belief of those whose fates are tied in the tapes and the testimony they gave to the authorities.
For others the mammoth reports from Wikileaks do pose a clear and present danger but not of the quantum where one Radia could be forgotten for her tete-a-tete with other self declared seer and saint. Times of saint and sinner are over. The time has come to act and act from scratch to reach pinnacle of purity. That is the sense that one got from One Manu One Ram and One Arun appearing on shows "The Last Sword" and "Neat Advocate".
