The query the other day on oranges emergence in the city and the windfall it is witnessing was set to rest by a vendor stress that it was all from Nagpur Nest. Nagpur was all he had to say to sway the debate on Oranges and those which were on Kolkata Way. If Oranges abound, Guava is nothing less Kolkata bound. Apart from these two fruits for which residents have a tacit understanding to take and fly, there are bananas but fewer having the desired appetite and give a daily try.
Sri Gopala Mistan Bhandar on S N Bannerjee Road has city's best curd and so do Ghose on Co on same road. Close to Divine Cyber Cafe is Ghosh Mistaan Bhandar. Near this Mistaan is one roll centre as one turns right and next to the roll centre is a shop manned by an old man. The old man sells biscuits. If possible people should help this old man. He has no sales round the day and if his sales pick up it would bring cheer in his life and life of those who help him.
