Train Number 12833 to Train Number 12834: Amidst the Cheerful Lot

Train Number 12833 to Train Number 12834: Amidst the Cheerful Lot

Train number 12833 was the one boarded to move from Ahmedabad to a destination 2087 kms away. It took two nights and two days to reach the same. Considering the seat number 22 was allotted to me, i could barely offend someone by taking the lower berth. From 23 onwards the seats on occupation were by a group from Gujarat, probably comprising 26 in one slot. Some seats had been reserved in A1 coach as well for the Choksi Group. It was at Tataland, popularly known as Tatanagar, the affable Choksis took time to deboard and disappear and i headed towards WB Fare. Parting being painful as the one with more than a pony tail being most cheerful. SM College product was ahead of the Pony subject on the Tataland station and yet time was not ripe for my all round submission.

In the midst of bongs and antakshari songs they bided their time and had their lavish meals prime. Not for once i was a party to their lavish spread leading to littering outside the coach deck. Not amounting to offence these acts of littering and leveraging and yet it showed them to be morally strong gems believing in strong family fence. Post meal infusion from station food joint and 15 cups of masala tea grind, they were back to their boisterous boast as they very well knew their Tataland host. Probably on Dec. 16th 12834 would be the train ride they would be taking back home where in the aisle and beyond the entire group would have the first mover advantage to roam. I won't be in the midst of this Group given the long ride i would have to take from Kol to Rourkela and back. Probably the 12834 train ride would have given the opportunity to get the round the clock familiarity with them.

On purpose i have decided to give a miss to 12834 train ride as it amounts to taking the train at odd hours at 11.55 pm followed by their appearance at 3.50 am in Tataland and i left with precisely three and a half hours to give my presentation to the Choksi band. Because at Rourkela i would have to deboard to catch another train to Bong Fort. All this would have been arduous and with no certainty on train reservations the up and down 16 hours journey would have been labourious. Nights and days have gone to brood on this subject and only this morning i decided to give 12834 train ride reject. No certainty was on my successful presentation but the Monday morning eye contact gave me enough room to get on board to act. Though i lost this time, if and ever i try to be in Satellite i would try to get a Choksi sight.

Best wishes to Choksis and especially to Pony Tail Perfectionist for the future ahead and morally strong is their standing i can bet.
