When you are staying in a country that has been up against all sort of battles , two thoughts cross your mind. First, the urgency to save water and second, the course correction which we should set in to keep power usage at low. Particularly true for national capital where the urgency to keep the usage of water and power to bare minimum does not cross minds of many. Perhaps the goading by others let them dig deep into deep reserve of water which by any chance won't remain deep if unchecked usage is resorted to. Delhi gets water from Uttaranchal, Himachal and Jammu & Kashmir and yet the repairs now and then can delink you from water. Water is precious and we should be careful enough to seek this resource and if we are able to check our expenses water and the quantity available won't appear to be a terrifying sight. There were occasions when deep reserve was run for 7 to 10 minutes. Later this transformed to 15 minutes and if this was not enough it was run for 25 minutes and above for one floor.  A sheer wastage brought out by the fact that outsiders seeking water have to be kept in good humour. A wrong precedent that should never be encouraged.

Resources we have we should be thankful for that instead of trying to build this argument that we need to augment income so that happiness comes in a ton. If we are good to the resource, the resource would be equally good to us.
