The Ride From New Delhi Railway Station To Kalka In India

The Ride From New Delhi Railway Station To Kalka In India

Having boarded Kalka Shatabdi it was time to spare a thought for the audience that was not rowdy. Having pulled out of New Delhi Station a little after 7. 40  it was no time to get dotty. Mr Rajesh Mehta was the TTE (Train Ticket Examiner) who was humble and polite and taking a seat next to me was his right. At 8 am reached Subzi Mandi station and two to three kms from here there was an open space where some persons were relieving and there was an urgent need to have a toilet base. The train gains traction, slows down and again gains traction and for the moment there were none in action. Spot board of Jahangirpuri where enduring peace would sustain was the query.

Reaching Samaypur Badli Railway Station At 8.10 With Fairly Clean Station In Karnal at 9.25

Reach Samyapur Badli Railway Station at 8.10 with enough sighting of Samaypur Badli Metro Station in the vicinity of which some students take tuition. At 8.12 came Khera Kalan, at 8.16 Holambi Kalan, at 8.23 Rathdhana, at 8.27 Sonipat, at 8.31 Sandal Kalan, at 8.33 Rajlu Garh, at 8.34 Ganaur and there was no uproar. At 8.38 Bhodwal Majri Station witnessing construction of sorts was spotted and here I was reminded of Kanniyakumari Station (Kanniyakumari Is A City In Tamil Nadu State In India) Visit in 2016 that was elevated. At 8.40 came Samalkha, with Panipat coming at 8.50 and stoppage here was for two minutes with some in state of gaiety. Since 9 am one could spot tracks under repair with workers at work and no one trying to be track repair shirk. At 9. 12 came Bazida Jattau, at 9.19 the train gains traction and in 9.25 Karnal with clean surroundings came into action. At 9.30 Taraori, at 9.32 Nilokheri, at 9.39 Amin and at 9.45 Kurukshetra where the train stopped and here some passengers hopped.

Functioning Of A PSU

At 9.55 Dodakheri, at 9.58 Dhirpur and right through the journey I was witness to someone talking about functioning of PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings) and the constant conversation gave the clues. Perhaps a civil engineer in NBCC and from his tone it looked he had made a fast buck while accepting the estimates of varied projects and this showed irregularities in NBCC functioning buckets. It was high time to put NBCC under scanner and no one was milking the same with handy skills of pruner. Irregularities in NBCC may come to the fore, civil engineers and others making fast buck is the aberration that needs to be corrected for sure. We wish well for NBCC and other PSUs and hope none are milking and leaving them with enough bruise.

Slew Of Underpasses

At 10 came Dhola Mazra railway station and sight slew of underpasses for the next 50 odd minutes with Shahbad Markanda coming at 10.03, Mohri at 10.10 and it was time to have black tea which did not come for free. Mr Khem Raj Joshi gave the tea and that was the lee. At 10.25 came Ambala Cantt and here the train halted and this was followed by Dhulkot at 10.38, Lalru at 10.44, DAPPAR at 10.46, Ghaggar at 10.48 with the train coach having a sizeable weight. Since 10.55 slew of high rises could be spotted and much famed Chandigarh (Chandigarh Is Capital Of Haryana And Punjab States In India) coming at 11 with some having heard of game necessarily called gammon. Do not litter with a fine of Rs 500 was the board one could spot, would this invite admiration from a large lot? At 11.37 came Kalka and it was here I had to deboard and take grub from Bhojanalaya (Refreshment Centre) whose staff was not cold. This journey lasting four hours gave a glimpse of India with graft episodes that were vey much visible on table and here monitoring would clear the dust and rubble. India for one needs an experiment at introspection, would this pay off give the greedy enough cushion?  On Other Side India's Agriculture Sector Raises Stirring Notes And Here We Need To Salute Farmers Who Float.

Devotees on Friday who visited Tirumala (Lord Venkateswara Lord Govinda Temple) the figure stood at 73,358, other figure being 41,900.

Leaving For New Delhi Railway Station To Head Towards Kalka In Haryana And Kasauli In Himachal Pradesh In India

Leaving For New Delhi Railway Station To Head Towards Kalka In Haryana And Kasauli In Himachal Pradesh In India

Peeping through Delhi-South India sector air fare the perennial high tariff suggested there were millions who took this route no matter howsoever were the business returns crude. I for one was in no mood to travel to South India and the all thorough day gaze was meant to see if the said fares would dive to invite praise and would have a consistency base. Even if the fare fell I won't be swayed to go on a South India trail as South India is too distant from New Delhi to hail.  As I set myself to the task of booking a train ticket to Kalka (Kalka Is A City In Haryana State In India) this was the first train journey to be undertaken after over two year hiatus alone knowing fully well who all came to New Delhi City from Rome. The Indian Railway website IRCTC was the one to log on to declare the intent to travel the proceeding hours would have uninterrupted tales to unravel. It was a tatkal ticket (tatkal ticket is a high premium ticket given by Indian Railways) with seat number 23 and nothing to glee. Concern was whether the ride to Kalka would engineer feats of acceptability in a nation where corruption is very much in the kitty. Concern was whether I would be able to travel to Kasauli (Kasauli is in Himachal Pradesh State In India) to visit Manki Point where there is a famed Lord Hanuman Temple which I visited way back in June 2014. In June 2014 I walked all the way to Lord Hanuman Temple in Manki Point from Kasauli Bus Stand and returned on foot as well with enough sighting of those on boot. Concern was whether I would be able to avail black tea at different places I was supposed to visit and the aforementioned places witnessing no heist. The bag I was supposed to carry was small as the large bag with heavy load could very much get me in a brawl. All through Friday the thoughts were on the State in India called Himachal where in the interior parts there are enough sighting of tubewells. My experience in the State of Himachal has been a mixed one in the past with vituperation coming in short spell even in areas having carrel. In India vituperation is rampant across North and those indulging in the same are no less dolt. Perhaps the hill stations in North India have no rescue plan and electric vehicles alone and alone could be the balm. Entry of petrol/ diesel vehicles coming from other states/provinces a steep entry fee of Rs 5000 for every day should be levied and this could well be electric vehicles introduction and most would heed.

Leaving Safdarjung Enclave Home at 6.20 am

On A Friday left home at 6.20 am searching for an auto. I hailed an auto driven by Mr Brijlal who demanded Rs 200 from Safdarjung Enclave to New Delhi Railway Station ride and this steep fare suggested Rs 30 odd that I used pay in the mid 90s for taking Shatabdis ( Shatabdis are fast moving trains run by Indian Railways connecting different State Capitals) was an era to be inquisitive with enough queries. Rupees two hundred was too steep and I had to content with no tale to weave. The gentleman Mr Brijlal talked about zebra crossing and those who crossed in a red light could well be fined and the chances were no blight. As I went past INA, Safdarjung Flyover and Sunehari Bagh Road there was sighting of black colour taxis which were on a float. Go past United News Of India and Sansad Marg where some have imaginary tales emerging from the city of New York and occasionally hug. Reached Connaught Place at 6.39 and go past Sri Lanka Buddhist Pilgrims' Rest and here those taking shelter are avid guest. Stuck in Chelmsford Road for over 10 minutes and reach New Delhi Station at 6.53 when still over forty minutes were there for Kalka Shatabdi to speed and flee. For one the parking space on Paharganj Side of New Delhi Railway Station should be done away with if traffic snarls are to be erased and not lit. If not that for every private vehicle taking refuge in this parking space a steep parking fee of Rs 500 for every hour should be imposed and there could be less car coast. From the bookstall where Mr Chaudhary was at the counter took toothbrush and other essentials and began to move to Platform Number 2 where I would sight Kalka Shatabdi Train Crew. On Platform One there was an ad of Tamil Nadu Tourism a State I have visited in the past where people have heard of terminology Humism. Kalka Shatabdi arrived at 7.25 on platform two and departed at 7.43 with some having heard of German Admiral Spee. The train slows down and began to gain traction emerging from a city where vituperation is in action. Ahmedabad Rajdhani could be seen entering Platform One coming from A State where there are enough gem. As the train began to move it went past coach care centre with train ticket examiner having successfully shunned the hot weather. Some talked about high inflation across India and faulty policies of regime making it halt and beam.

Stepping Out On Tuesday And Wednesday In New Delhi In India

Stepping Out On Tuesday And Wednesday In New Delhi In India

As the air fare for Bengaluru (Bengaluru Is A City In Karnataka State In India) on Wednesday Night inched closer to 14 (Rs 14,000), it was to time to skip food from adjoining canteen. The said city has received rains in quantum and residents have heard of South Eastern France City Menton. Menton is considered to be a winter resort with idyllic surroundings and with no sighting of drought. God has been kind to Menton and blessings would come in plenty no matter whereabouts not known about attendee.

On A Tuesday leave home at 7.10 am. Spot bus number 623 breaking all traffic rules and crossing red light while going towards Shahdara in New Delhi. Delhi Housing Over 14 Million People

Delhi is a vast city housing over 14 million people and majority of whom carry on with their lives with no ill will and hatred. As I near Karol Bagh spot ad of Drishti IAS, NEXT IAS. IAS (Indian Administrative Service) is one of the three wings of All India Services, other being IPS (Indian Police Service) and IFS (Indian Foreign Service)). Probationers undergo training in Mussoorie and hope they maintain discipline. There could well be notable absentees here. Reach Karol Bagh at 8.17. Go past Schneider Electric, Cool Point and Clothes 'N' More. Reach Lord Hanuman Temple In Karol Bagh and leave soon. Employment that Karol Bagh and precincts provide is no less and this a welcome sign for the city of Delhi. At Karol Bagh Metro Station spot different ads. LUKMAAN IAS The one and only by S Ansari. Edukemy. Success meets you. Shabbir Bashir. These are IAS coaching centres. Metro starts from Karol Bagh at 8.29. Reach Rajiv Chowk at 8.40. Wait for Qutub Minar bound train. Metro starts at 8.47. Reach INA Metro Station at 8.59. Hail auto driven by Mr Sadiq Hussain. Mr S Ansari, Mr Shabbir Bashir and Mr Mr Sadiq Hussain come from minority section (Muslims) and they are doing wonderful job in the city of Delhi. Reach home at 9.10. Tuesday was the day when summer was at its peak and stepping out was a necessity to get circulation in the legs.

Tuesday on SVBC (Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel) information was shared with the audience that trek from SRIVARI METTU to Tirumala has 2388 steps. Hindi Khabar Channel had a story on dilapidated state of affairs as far as govt schools in Himachal Pradesh ( Himachal Pradesh Is A State In India) is concerned with around 8,000 schools having just one teacher and in 10,000 schools across Himachal Pradesh State there is just one or two room. Schools need uplift and here Delhi Model could be applied.

Electric Vehicle Charging Station At West Kidwai Nagar Are Yet To Get Functional As There Are Least Electric Vehicles In Delhi

On A Wednesday leave home at 7.45 am. Mind you there are two ElectriVa Electric Vehicle Charging Station next to West Kidwai Nagar in a space of 100 metres. When these Charging Stations would become functional with electric vehicles alone making inroads in the city of Delhi is a query that seeks response every day. Meet vendor Mr Mohammad Shamim who is a Muslim and knows the tricks of staying in a BIG CITY. Sometimes when I go through West Kidwai Nagar I am reminded of my different sojourns to Gujarat State (Gujarat Is A State In West India) notably Somnath, Dwarkadhish, and Okha.  Reach INA Metro Station at 8.07. Frisking by Mr Prakash Kumar Kamat. Metro leaves at 8.15. Reach Rajiv Chowk Metro Station at 8.25. Reach Jhandewalan Metro Station at 8.33. Visit Lord Hanuman Temple . Hail auto driven by Mr Manish. Inside auto there is a message in Hindi Language Naari Ka Samman (Giving Respect To Women). Reach Karol Bagh at 8.48.

Frisking at Karol Bagh Metro Station by Mr S Suresh. Meet two gentlemen from Nepal (Kathmandu). Mr Gaurav Kumar gives token and when I wish him he smiles. Metro from Karol Bagh starts at 9.14. Reach Rajiv Chowk at 9.21. Metro for Vishwavidyalaya (Delhi University) starts at 9.28. At Vishwavidyalaya there is an ad of India's first Double Decker dine in restaurant. As I step out of metro station Spot Food Bus Of India. Take apple juice at 9.53. Frisking by Mr Rahul Sharma. Mr Deepak Kumar is kind enough to give token. Wait for a less crowded metro. Metro starts at 10.05 am. Deboard at Rajiv Chowk at 10.17. Qutub Minar bound metro starts at 10.25. Reach INA at 10.37. Reach home at 10.47 with auto driven by My Ainuddin Chowdhury. At INA Metro Station I spot a woman in blue attire and a woman in Vaishno Devi was also spotted in blue attire in October 2017. Hope they are having a smooth sail. Wednesday was the day when thoughts were on Electric Vehicle Charging Stations and when would Electric Vehicles greet the residents of Delhi. With fuel prices showing an upward trend it is high time electric vehicles make their way in different parts of India and the common man getting the much-needed relief. We are living in uncertain times and survey of the mosque should have been avoided. Flames of hatred should be doused with due respect to people irrespective of their religious affiliations.

Al Jazeera And CNN Channels Are Doing A Wonderful Job.

Accessing South India By Air Is No Fair

Accessing South India By Air Is No Fair

In South India bound sector the air fare is on a rise and this is a surprise. Hovering in thousands between 9 and 12 and this is the ringing bell heard in airports that swell. Are these air fares meant to please fat purse segment and rising steadily to remain permanent? Why Accessing South India from centres like New Delhi leave a big hole in pocket as these air fares sky rocket. Accessing is a big ask as planes fly over intermittent territories splashed with grass. If that was not all procuring one policy saw outflow of huge cash intermingled with IGST of close to Rs 5500 and this showed regime's writ and their kindred. This IGST is draining out honest man's reserves do you have a count of those running ACs with no break in offices with fat purse and enough bulwark?

Places In South India To Access

Places In South India To Access Where Weather Is No Stress are Bengaluru, Mysore, Chikmagalur, Munnar, Coorg, Vythiri, Kotagiri, Udhagamandalam, Kodaikanal And Beyond even places witnessing scorching summer like Rameswaram could be advised for a short stay which occasionally receives visitors from West Bengal's Kalimpong. As weather looks fine in Bengaluru with rains pounding Chennai which is thousand and thousand miles away from South American Country Peru, the onset of monsoon in South India is not far, hope the monsoon is widespread with no bar.

No Information On Devotees

With no information coming on number of devotees visiting Lord Venkateswara Temple In Tirumala on Sunday in Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel (SVBC)'s Adhyatmika Viseshalu we were surprised to see no noting on this front, hope Adhyatmika Viseshalu doesn't function from premises on rent. The largesse shown by South Indians is a force to reckon with here in large swathes of North India stepping out early morning could be a hit. North India simmers the entire day with scorching summer on tray. Kerala for one could be accessed by avid traveller this summer as monsoon hopefully would have arrived by June with some taking drinks in rummer and knowing fully well their kimmer. As we watch proceedings from South India on channels like SVBC, Polimer News, News 7 Tamil, TV 5 Kannada, Sun, Jaya, Manorama News, Mazhavil Manorama, ETV Telangana, ETV Andhra Pradesh and Gemini, it is time to think of surroundings with none whatsoever ennui. South India gets the dutiful attention it deserves, side by side one can't forget the North India buzz.

This Summer To Get Going

This summer to get going calls for requisite intake of water; coconut water to buttermilk to lassi  (buttermilk and lassi are different) and one need not be fussy. Summer we hail for the consistency shown in raising resistance and here Ajmer is one place which is not tense. With Summer right at its peak those on short fuse not in small numbers hope myriad of challenges faced by humanity is met with deft response post intake of cucumber. Airports across places in world witnessing high temperatures have to ensure things in order the folks working there having heard of Hungarian political leader Kadar. Political folks too take flight journey at tax payer's expense having the aroma of cense. For how long one would have to shell out high premium which is a quantum jump from previous outgo and this shows the insurance company in no ho. Let's celebrate honesty and resilience of Indians, they have thousand and thousand miles to trek and having heard of Guamanian. The world over the order to be restored is the crying need and hope each individual on earth is getting the requisite feed.

Watching Adivo Alladivo On Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel (SVBC)

Watching Adivo Alladivo On Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel (SVBC)

Adivo Alladivo on SVBC on Saturday featured singers Ms Bhaktiki, Mr Yashwant Kumar, Ms Shalini, Mr Gopi, Ms Vasudaprada and Mr Tarak Srinivas. Judges were Shailendar Garu, S P Shailesh Garu and Sai Krishna Garu. Shailendar Garu observed Lord Rama told us how to lead life; Lord Krishna told us how to deal with life. In Life the aspect of tenacity is very important.
Special mention made by judge of Ms Vasudaprada and Mr Tarak Srinivas. I relish watching Adivo Alladivo.

In SVBC's Adhyatmika Viseshalu on Saturday there was two set of report from Tirupati, report from Delhi, report from Bhubaneswar, report from Nellore, report from Srikalahasti, report from Ananthapuram, report from Cuddapah, report on SVBC Online Radio, report from Kurnool, report from Nalgonda, report from Chittoor, report from Telangana's Dharmapuri, report from Telangana, report from Kamareddy. Devotees who visited Lord Venkateswara/ Lord Govinda Temple in Tirumala on Friday the figure stood at 62,000, other figure 32,303.

In SVBC's Adhyatmika Viseshalu on Sunday there was a report from Tiruchanoor, report from Odisha (preparations for Kalyan Mandapam), two set of report from Tirupati, report from Delhi, report from Srikalahasti and report from Chittoor. There was no mention of number of devotees who visited Tirumala on Saturday.

Visiting Sarojini Nagar Market In New Delhi

Had the opportunity to visit State Bank of India. Leave home at 10.10 am. Automan Mr Kumar is at the helm. Meet security personnel Mr Jagmohan. Mr Aditya is the new personnel at the bank. Use of cellular phone inside branch premises is strictly prohibited was the message that was loud and clear. Leave bank premises at 10.45. Meet fruit vendor Mr Manoj. Spot buses with numbers 611, 587 (Kamruddin Nagar), 578 (Najafgarh). Meet volunteers of Civil Defence New Delhi District. Reach Ring Road Sarojini Nagar at 11 am. Go past Lord Hanuman Temple at 11.05. Reach Sarojini Nagar Market at 11.15. Visit Punjab Bartan (Utensil) Store with Mr Sunil Kumar at the counter. Visit premises of  airtel store and jio store. Alarmed to note that jio doesn't offer 2G and 3G connection in India. Perhaps the jio personnel across country don't realise the fact that in India there are less and less number of people who own mobile and most are comfortable with normal mobile as smartphone is a total waste. India is a poor country and normal mobile would be the order of the day.  The prepaid airtel connection that I take there is agonising wait for internet to get going. In Jammu, Katra and beyond the different people I came across were comfortable with 2G connection in their mobile and there was declining visibility of smartphone.

Visiting INA Market In New Delhi

On another day leave home at 9.25 am. Meet fruit vendor Mr Shreeram. Spot buses with numbers 611, 392, 567, 529, 442, 724, 874  going to different destinations in Delhi. Meet vendor Madam Laddo Devi, meet cool drinks vendor Mr Vikas with vendor Mr Chandan not present. Meet Mr Manoj Kumar who has difficulty in walking. At 9.50 go past Delhi Tourism And Transportation Development Corporation LTD ( Travel Division) Of Delhi Govt in INA. Go past Maharaja Agrasen Marg. Next to INA Metro Station spot E-Next Mobility autorickshaws. These are electric autorickshaws in blue colour introduced by Delhi Govt and they could take away the load of autos running on CNG. Perhaps electric autorickshaws need to be encouraged in Delhi and beyond. In INA market meet Mr Mohammad Jawed who guides me to a  bag store. Mr Mohammad Jawed is a Muslim and good at heart. Mr Madan Singh of Ambassador Suitcase store is helpful. So is National Store boy who gives two set of Mysore Sandal Soap.

As for fire incidents in Jammu and Delhi much of the blame lies in running ACs for 20, 20 hours with no break and faulty wiring. Hope there is judicious usage of multiple ACs across offices.

SVBC has been grappling with a technical glitch since Sunday where the voice comes before the picture and there is no synchronisation between sound and picture. Hope this glitch is tackled with success. Aahar Flour coming in 5 kg pack is handy. We relish Aahar Flour delivered by City Store Central Market Safdarjung Enclave New Delhi. Mother Dairy's Cow's Milk Is equally good.
Sun Channel beamed from Tamil Nadu State In India had a report on rose festival in Udhagamandalam (Udhagamandalam Is A City In Tamil Nadu State In India). Reminiscing about Anegundi in Karnataka State In India and Udhagamandalam. There is peace and tranquility in South India much due to good governance. There should be judicious use of water and power across world.

Leaving Katra In Jammu And Kashmir State In India For India's Capital New Delhi

Leaving Katra For India's Capital New Delhi

As I was not able to procure sleep the entire night in Katra the sum total of black tea and bananas signaled the intent that onward journey would be accomplished with no hiccups. The set of idly the previous night from Jewels was good and so was the ambience. As I bided time personnel of Katra Taxi Stand assured me transport would be arranged for Jammu. In October 2017 when I visited this place I had grub from Krishna Dhaba. Mind you Luxmi Vaishno Dhaba or Krishna Dhaba are no ordinary restaurants, they are upscale by any standards.

Mr Bunty Of Katra Taxi Stand Helpful

After 11 am I checked out of Tilak Yatri Hotel with the personnel Mr Biju wishing to know whether I intended to avail taxi service. The prompt response by Mr Bunty of Katra Taxi Stand assured me that Mr Biju's request could be entertained the next time. This Tilak Yatri hotel is good by all means. Leave Katra at 11.09 am. Mr Om Prakash Sharma (9419110057) is at the wheels. He has been driving taxi for 30 years. He put a query to me whether I visited Vaishno Devi Shrine every month to which I replied I come as and when Goddess Vaishno Devi wishes. Visiting Vaishno Devi Shrine at short intervals and even every month could be possible if Vaishno Devi Ma so desires.

The Ride From Katra To Jammu

As the taxi made its way through Katra town going past Hotel Asia Shripati, going past Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Spiritual Growth Centre. Sight hoarding of Thanks For Visit Municipal Committee Katra. Go past Suraj Vaishno Dhaba. Go past TNP News hoarding. The road to Jammu is great with enough twists and turns. Board of hurry makes bad curry and this message is for all those driving different modes of transport and they need to have patience and spare a thought for pedestrians. Spot PWD At Your Service Hoarding. Spot J&K State Road Transport Corporation bus. Thanks For Visit District Administration Reasi board spotted. At 11.29 Srinagar (Srinagar Is Capital of Jammu And Kashmir State In India) is 220 km, Delhi 602 km. At 11.30 reach Suketar. At 11.33 go past first tunnel, followed by second and third tunnel. Surroundings are expansive. Fourth tunnel comes soon after. At 11.38 reach Ban. At 11.39 Delhi is 593 km and Jammu 33 km. At 11.40 Sharp Curve Here board spotted. Go past Kashmir Handloom And Handicraft Store. At 11.42 reach Dhammi. At 11.45 reach Jagti. At 11.48 reach Khanpur. At 11.49 comes Sithi. At 11.50 Amritsar 228 km, Pathankot 117 km and Jammu 20 km. Enter Jammu city a little after 12 pm. The traffic is thin with sighting of enough security personnel. At 12.16 reach Jammu Airport.

More Than Three Stages Of Frisking At Jammu Airport

There is almost winding queue outside airport and frisking begins at the outer gate of airport itself. This is followed by second stage of frisking and third stage. The CISF personnel who rummages through check in baggage points out that coconut can't be carried. He is from North East and with enough patience. Here I take a seat next to frisking point and here a woman passes through carrying laptop. I bide my time with announcements made for different flights. Vistara flight arriving from Srinagar to Jammu and headed back to Srinagar. Similar announcements made for IndiGo and Go Air ( Go First). With Go First Flight which I am supposed to board the announcement is made for gate change from number four to number three. Here there is another set of frisking before boarding the aircraft. Flight captain is Mr Pradeep Kumar Sharma and co-pilot Ms Vinita Kashyap. The flight takes off at 2.48 and lands in Delhi airport at 3.48. In record 60 minutes the Go First Flight accomplished Jammu-Delhi ride as against almost 70 minutes taken by Spice Jet flight from Delhi to Jammu.

Pre Paid Taxi Counter At Delhi Airport T 2 Good; Bring In More Black And Yellow Taxis

We hail flights that take off from Delhi and go via Delhi Cantt, Bhikaji Cama Place and South Extension. In T 2 Delhi Airport where the Go First Flight lands there is little rush and one can step out of airport premises in matter of seconds. The pre paid taxi counter maintained by Traffic Department is handy and I hail a Non AC Black And Yellow Taxi. These pre paid taxi counters are a must as they give employment to black and yellow taxis of an era gone by and gives income to those people who are content with vehicles that are old. I wish more black and yellow taxis make inroads in the city of Delhi and beyond. The route that my taxi took from airport was similar to the route taken by a black and yellow taxi in August 2016 when I returned from Guruvayur in Kerala State In India while taking flight from Kochi at 2.30 am. The memories of Guruvayur stint comes afresh. I stayed in Guruvayur for almost a week with Lord Guruvayur showering blessings. This time round I reach home a little before 4.50 pm with memories in abundance about Vaishno Devi Shrine. While coming from this route next to Africa Avenue and in vicinity of a church the Friday Market can be seen. The point not to be missed I carried Mysore Sandal Soap (Mysore Sandal Soap Is Manufactured In Bengaluru City In Karnataka State In India) To Vaishno Devi Shrine And Brought It Intact Back To Delhi.

SVBC's Adhyatmika Viseshalu On Monday And Thursday (Goddess Padmavathi Perinovatsovalu )

In Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel (SVBC)'s Adhyatmika Viseshalu on Monday there was a report from Telangana, two sets of report from Tirupati, three sets of report from Chittoor, two sets of report from Srikalahasti, report from Mahbubnagar, report from Kamareddy, report on SVBC Online Radio, report from Bhadrachalam, report from Vijaywada, report from Cuddapah, report from Ananthapuram. Devotees who visited Lord Venkateswara Temple / Lord Govinda Temple on May 8 (Sunday) stood at 75,876 other figure 32,164. These are whopping numbers and shows the trust over a billion people have in the Reigning Lord Of Tirumala.  SVBC is doing a remarkable job. In SVBC's Adhyatmika Viseshalu on Thursday there was mention of Goddess Padmavathi Perinovatsovalu in Tirumala on same day.

Are Their Flights From Delhi To Srisailam (Andhra Pradesh) And Hope Airport Comes Soon

When would flights originate from Delhi and go all the way to Srisailam In Andhra Pradesh State In India no one knows. First the airport has to come up. Airport at Srisailam is a must. Reminiscing about Srisailam (Andhra Pradesh), Jakhu Temple (Shimla), Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Dargah (Ajmer), Nathdwara, Udaipur (Lord Shrinathji Resides Here) and Tamil Nadu (Kotagiri And Udhagamandalam). As for the City Of Bengaluru the weather is fine and much relief from summer scorcher of North India. It has been a while since I visited Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Dargah in Ajmer.

The Walk From Vaishno Devi (Bhavan) To Katra In Jammu And Kashmir State In India

The Walk From Vaishno Devi (Bhavan) To Katra In Jammu And Kashmir State In India

Having had fleeting glimpse of Goddess Vaishnodevi Ma I was out of temple premises well before 5.30 pm. Mind you the morning aarti is from 6.15 am to 8 am and evening aarti is from 6.15 to 8 pm. This was precisely the reason why there was no rush as I entered the temple premises well before the aarti was to commence. In the temple premises there is frisking at three stages and this is necessary as Jammu And Kashmir Is A Border State. While ascending from Katra well after Ardhkuwari there is frisking at three places. And this is in the interest of devotees.

Announcement For Devotees To Set On Return Journey

Announcement about huge flow of devotees on way to Vaishno Devi (Bhavan) from Katra and those who had visited the sacred temple should vacate the area and set on return journey to Katra is audible. I head to Manokamna Bhawan Phase II and have two sets of coffee. The coffee without sugar can't be found. The coffee too is lukewarm given the rush Manokamna Bhawan is witnessing. There is Manokamna Bhawan Phase I as well where I find Mr Mulk Raj from Bharkh whom I met in October 2017 during my visit that time. When I told him about my previous visit and having given him Lord Venkateswara Picture he point blank refuses to recognise me and says he was not there in Manokamna Bhawan's Cash Counter in 2017. I move on with no hard feelings. The STD ISD PCO booth run by Air Tel is handy as calls can be made with no botheration to visit cloak room and take out your cell and post conversation deposit it in the cloak room. Mr Mahinder is running the phone booth and he is a real buddy. This time round I don't use cloak room as I am not carrying anything and descending and ascending the cloak room is a big ask. I made a suggestion way back in October 2017 that Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) should raise a cloak room next to JKM Bhojanalaya as this would bring comfort to Vaishno Devi Ma devotees.

Starting From Vaishno Devi (Bhavan) For Katra

Post coffee and post call to Safdarjung Enclave residence I set on return journey to Katra. It was Mr  Shahnawaz who carried my luggage while descending from Vaishno Devi to Katra in October 2017. Before leaving I meet two men in khakhi hailing from Jharkhand State In India. I leave Vaishno Devi (Bhavan) at 6.27 pm. I meet a group from Kolhapur from Maharashtra State In India. There are boards on the way of shooting stone areas and devotees need to watch out for and continue walking. I meet a group which has one among its member wearing mundu (mundu is essentially worn in Kerala State In India) and members of this group are probably from Hindi Heartland ( Punjab). With no break I keep walking and reach Himkoti after 7 pm. I continue to walk and reach Ardhkuwari at 7.40 pm. All across the route I come across sanitation workers of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) clearing the path taken by devotees. The cleanliness drive by SMVDSB should be hailed.

Here Walnuts And Walnuts With Cover Galore

Chilled drinking kiosks are handy. There is sighting of sole drum beater here and there and people take comfort listening to their beats. I take B Natural Fruit Drink and it brings spring to my step. There are nestle and coffee day outlets with none serving apple juice. From Ardhkuwari as well stores/shops far and wide are visible catering to varied taste. Here walnuts with cover galore and there are umpteen shops dealing with that. I sit for a while to take water and move on. By the time I reach Banganga it is 9.05 pm. I hail auto driven by Mr Sonu and reach Katra bus stand at 9.25 pm. Mind you the road from Banganga to Katra bus stand is not well lit and here administration needs to do something. I book flight ticket (GO AIR which has been rechristened as Go First) from Yatrika Tour And Travels (opposite Phawara Chowk, Near Durga Hotel) with Mr Rakesh Sharma doing the needful. Take room in Tilak Yatri Hotel with personnel Mr Biju extending all possible help. Later take Butter Milk and Idly from Jewels restaurant run by JKTDC (Jammu Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation). Butter milk was something to relish. I take bananas from fruit vendor and retire to my room. All through night I am not able to sleep despite being physically tired and leave the bed a little after 4.30 am to search for black tea. I take five sets of black tea with tea vendor Mr Rai Kumar Sharma showing the intent to prepare the same. While taking tea I came across buses headed to different centres in the States Of Punjab And Himachal Pradesh. I take breakfast from Luxmi Vaishno Dhaba comprising tomato potato vegetable, tandoori roti and plain curd.

Thursday was a historic day as I not only reached Vaishno Devi (Bhavan) from Katra, the descent taking place few hours later and reaching Katra the same day. Thursday was historic for the umpteen occasions I gained fortitude to ascend and descend with Goddess Vaisho Devi guiding me every hour. The entire pilgrimage which started from Banganga at 2 pm, reaching Vaishno Devi (Bhavan) at 4.25, leaving Vaishno Devi (Bhavan) at 6.27,  reaching Banganga at 9.05 and Katra thereafter at 9.25 illustrated the trust I had in Goddess.

We strive for peace be it in Congo or Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka is in neighbourhood and there are lessons to take from this episode. Peace should reign each and every hour.

The Trek From Katra To Vaishno Devi Shrine In Jammu And Kashmir State In India

The Trek From Katra To Vaishno Devi Shrine In Jammu And Kashmir State In India

As I reached Katra it was time to scan around. As I alighted from taxi whose AC was non functional the administration would be advised to run AC Buses from Jammu Airport to Katra or taxis with no AC. That won't be a drain on resources. One hasn't thought of an airport in Katra and if it could come in due time it would be good for devotees. Perhaps the requisite land for the same could be a challenge. Coming to my trip alighting from taxi I discovered Jewels Restaurant (Run By Jammu Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation - JKTDC). First I purchased hand sanitiser and a soap and later stepped inside Jewels. The gentleman at the counter was kind enough to make call to my Safdarjung Enclave Residence. Later I settled for Veg Biryani with curd and serving gentleman was Mr Pawan. Post meals I collected biometric entry card (Yatra Parchi) and took auto driven by Mr Rampal and left for Banganga. On the way the entry fee for auto was Rs 10 and I reached Banganga in no time and this ride of less than 2 km was for Rs 150. This steep fare is all that automen bank on and the number of rides each day are few and far. Those devotees with little resources at their disposal prefer to walk from Katra bus stand to Banganga and they are not handful but scores of them. Even those teeming with resources prefer to walk from bus stand to Banganga. As I alighted from auto Mr Mushtaq wished to know whether I would be comfortable with a horse ride. I told him I would walk. This time round at Banganga there were enough pithoos (those who carry your luggage), ponies (those who give you horse ride) and palkis.

Frisking Point At Banganga: Reaching Ardhkuwari

At the frisking point at Banganga there was commotion all around as there was no single line and there was no social distancing. If administration could renew efforts to maintain single queue it would be better for all. Post frisking which was in-depth I began to walk precisely from 2 pm.  Hardly I had walked 500 metres (the first six kms trek is quite steep) I was not able to maintain myself with the mask on. I decided for a horse ride and for the next five kms I settled for that and reached Ardhkuwari at 2.55 pm with the horseman Mr Shyampal charging Rs 650 for the services rendered.  Mind you from Banganga  there are shops in plenty on either side for the first three kms notably dry fruits, massage centres and food outlets. All along the 12 km journey there are chilled drinking water kiosks. From Ardhkuwari it is mostly plain surface and one has to walk five kms to reach Vaishno Devi. There are battery cars as well with Karnataka (Karnataka Is A State In South India) number plates that take you to Vaishno Devi.

Reaching Himkoti; Reaching Vaishno Devi (Bhavan)

From Ardhkuwari I walked with no break and reached Himkoti at 3.32. Here is a resting point for devotees maintained by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB). With no halt either at Himkoti and other places I continued my onward journey on foot and reached Vaishno Devi (Bhavan) at 4.25. It took under two-and-a- half hours to reach Bhavan from Banganga. And this experience was exhilarating. One comes across  STD/PCO kiosk and it is handy for devotees. I made a phone call to Safdarjung Enclave Home. Post call and after finishing prayer paper which was short I entered the lane at 5.05 pm that took one to Vaishno Devi Shrine. There was no rush and I was in sanctum sanctorum a little after 5.15. I had a fleeting glimpse of Sacred Pindis representing Goddess Vaishno Devi and bowed before the same and most importantly I had Pious Darshan.  I gave picture of Lord Venkateswara/ Lord Govinda to the priest and left the sanctum sanctorum. I bowed before idol of Lord Hanuman and came out of temple at 5.25. This Fleeting Glimpse was quite elevating and I wish Goddess Vaishno Devi continue to shower blessings for trillion centuries. I Wish Goddess Vaishno Devi Remains Happy In All Situations. Vaishno Devi Shrine Is Wonder Of Sorts And Welcomes Millions And Millions Of  Devotees Each Year. I Hope I And Others Get Opportunities For Long To Visit Vaishno Devi Shrine.

Leaving For Vaishno Devi Shrine In Jammu And Kashmir State In India

Leaving For Vaishno Devi Shrine In Jammu And Kashmir State In India

In no time on Thursday I began the search for morning flight from Delhi to Jammu. The sole motive was to have a glimpse of Vaishno Devi the same day. I could zero in on a flight departing at 9.50 am. When I booked the ticket they sought Trip ID to get ticket printout. Soon I received a message that web check-in was mandatory and to click on the link. I was functioning with no smartphone and just normal mobile and to click on the link was next to impossible. I fed the link in the laptop and it took its own sweet time to get the boarding pass issued. For the seat to choose one had to pay extra and this web check-in looked to be tiresome. Five sheets of paper came out in an attempt to get boarding pass. I was travelling after two year hiatus and these new set of rules I was not familiar with and they somewhat looked to be perplexing. I was travelling empty handed as depositing the luggage at Vaishnodevi luggage counter and retrieving clothes and other essentials is a big ask. I was not carrying mobile and belt as well as these too needed to be deposited at the counter.

Reaching Delhi Airport T 3

Getting taxi for the airport was the next issue I had to grapple with. Mr Nirmal Singh was at the wheels and I left Safdarjung Enclave home at 7.40. Went past Bhikaji Cama Place, Rao Tula Ram Marg and reached airport at 8. As usual there was rush. A woman who had arrived from Kota in Rajasthan State In India was ahead of me and she reasoned with CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) (CISF has been mandated with the task of securing the premises of airports across India) personnel that she be allowed despite coming much earlier. I entered from Gate 3 with CISF personnel Mr R U Chaudhary verifying the ticket and ID. On display board there were flights to different destinations like Mumbai, Darbhanga, Bengaluru and other places and there were no less than 50 flights for the next two to three hours. As I searched for phone booth and at rear end STD/PCO booth could be sighted. There was no personnel manning the counter. In December 2017 there was one gentleman going by the name Mr Harshit Narayan Jha at the counter. He had been working at the airport since 1994. Post local call I left Rs 10 coin.

Announcement Made For Wearing Mask And Maintaining Social Distancing

Frisking was done by a gentleman who was polite and I can't recall his name. Post frisking I could not trace my wallet and with help coming from CISF personnel I got my wallet. There were stores and stores all across airport with alert staff in attendance. At Gate number 48 which was meant for Spice Jet Flight 8373 to Jammu there was heavy rush and I took a seat next to gate number 49 reserved for passengers going to Srinagar. Mind you Jammu and Srinagar are cities in Jammu And Kashmir State In India. There were frequent announcements at regular intervals audible here that wearing mask was mandatory and maintaining social distancing. There were few passengers who heeded to this request and I saw no reason why passengers were not wearing mask. The Jammu Flight took off at 10.09 with Commander Ms Agarwal and Co pilot Mr Singh at the helm. Seated next to window I was biding time with nothing else to do. There were no conversations whatsoever. The flight landed in Jammu at 11.06. There was announcement that that no photos be clicked as it was a defence airport and here I believe these smartphones are a clear waste given the temerity of people to click pictures every now and then. By the time I got out of aircraft it was well past 11.30. Welcome To City Of Temples hoarding was what I was greeted with and as I reached prepaid taxi counter the gentleman Mr Arvinder Singh seem to be in two minds on what taxi to dispense with. One has to splurge Rs 1825 for the ride to Katra. Katra is the place from where one has to trek to Vaishno Devi Shrine. Here in Jammu Airport if they could make arrangements for buses going to Katra it could benefit many. The ride from Jammu was in a taxi where the taximan would frequently put the smartphone in a speaker mode and abuse could be heard coming from other side. Most of the time he was on smartphone and this is risky while driving. The ride was ordinary to say the least. It is better to take taxi from a counter which is just outside the airport. The road to Katra has four tunnels.  The road has enough twists and turns and is built and maintained by National Highways Authority Of India (NHAI) and hats off to them. On the way one has to shell out another Rs 150 as toll tax. The ride from airport which started at 11.50 was amidst an environ where securing the surroundings was the agenda to be followed. Reached Katra a little before 1 pm.

In Adivo Alladivo on Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel (SVBC) that was beamed on April 30 featured Ms Shweta, Ms Joshika, Chakravakillo and others. Special mention made by judge of Ms Joshika. We hail SVBC for beaming proceedings from Tirumala.

This Nathu's sweets would be reduced to ashes for the valour shown in releasing abuse for no fault of mine. I stood shocked and left the premises soon. Not far away is a newspaper whose staff and woman owner pass abuse and treat ordinary citizens with enough disdain. Thereafter I took comfort in metro ride and reached the destination safely. And here they want to impose Hindi and Hindi abuse across country.

Move To Impose Hindi Language Across India Would Stand Defeated

No language can be imposed in any part of India. English would continue to be link language in India and any attempt to impose Hindi would be defeated. Hindi is spoken in North India alone and in South India Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam are largely spoken. Even in Goa (Goa Is A State In West India) the people prefer local dialect.

What a fall for Sanskrit. As reports came in of a medical student in Madurai in Tamil Nadu State In India forced to take oath in Sanskrit the move was decried by people by and large. These moves are meant to create divisions in society and what a fall for new delhi's black merchant (minister black). Divisions are being created across India and repeatedly by those at the helm who are not familiar that dialect changes after every 10 mile in India. To keep India United Let The Vibrant Colours Flourish.

We believe that with front coach of Delhi Metro reserved for women a time may come when more than one coach would be reserved for them as they are the heart and soul of world. If women are to be saved from getting into malpractices, education for them is a necessity. Educate them and leave rest to the Lord.
