The Ride From New Delhi Railway Station To Kalka In India

The Ride From New Delhi Railway Station To Kalka In India

Having boarded Kalka Shatabdi it was time to spare a thought for the audience that was not rowdy. Having pulled out of New Delhi Station a little after 7. 40  it was no time to get dotty. Mr Rajesh Mehta was the TTE (Train Ticket Examiner) who was humble and polite and taking a seat next to me was his right. At 8 am reached Subzi Mandi station and two to three kms from here there was an open space where some persons were relieving and there was an urgent need to have a toilet base. The train gains traction, slows down and again gains traction and for the moment there were none in action. Spot board of Jahangirpuri where enduring peace would sustain was the query.

Reaching Samaypur Badli Railway Station At 8.10 With Fairly Clean Station In Karnal at 9.25

Reach Samyapur Badli Railway Station at 8.10 with enough sighting of Samaypur Badli Metro Station in the vicinity of which some students take tuition. At 8.12 came Khera Kalan, at 8.16 Holambi Kalan, at 8.23 Rathdhana, at 8.27 Sonipat, at 8.31 Sandal Kalan, at 8.33 Rajlu Garh, at 8.34 Ganaur and there was no uproar. At 8.38 Bhodwal Majri Station witnessing construction of sorts was spotted and here I was reminded of Kanniyakumari Station (Kanniyakumari Is A City In Tamil Nadu State In India) Visit in 2016 that was elevated. At 8.40 came Samalkha, with Panipat coming at 8.50 and stoppage here was for two minutes with some in state of gaiety. Since 9 am one could spot tracks under repair with workers at work and no one trying to be track repair shirk. At 9. 12 came Bazida Jattau, at 9.19 the train gains traction and in 9.25 Karnal with clean surroundings came into action. At 9.30 Taraori, at 9.32 Nilokheri, at 9.39 Amin and at 9.45 Kurukshetra where the train stopped and here some passengers hopped.

Functioning Of A PSU

At 9.55 Dodakheri, at 9.58 Dhirpur and right through the journey I was witness to someone talking about functioning of PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings) and the constant conversation gave the clues. Perhaps a civil engineer in NBCC and from his tone it looked he had made a fast buck while accepting the estimates of varied projects and this showed irregularities in NBCC functioning buckets. It was high time to put NBCC under scanner and no one was milking the same with handy skills of pruner. Irregularities in NBCC may come to the fore, civil engineers and others making fast buck is the aberration that needs to be corrected for sure. We wish well for NBCC and other PSUs and hope none are milking and leaving them with enough bruise.

Slew Of Underpasses

At 10 came Dhola Mazra railway station and sight slew of underpasses for the next 50 odd minutes with Shahbad Markanda coming at 10.03, Mohri at 10.10 and it was time to have black tea which did not come for free. Mr Khem Raj Joshi gave the tea and that was the lee. At 10.25 came Ambala Cantt and here the train halted and this was followed by Dhulkot at 10.38, Lalru at 10.44, DAPPAR at 10.46, Ghaggar at 10.48 with the train coach having a sizeable weight. Since 10.55 slew of high rises could be spotted and much famed Chandigarh (Chandigarh Is Capital Of Haryana And Punjab States In India) coming at 11 with some having heard of game necessarily called gammon. Do not litter with a fine of Rs 500 was the board one could spot, would this invite admiration from a large lot? At 11.37 came Kalka and it was here I had to deboard and take grub from Bhojanalaya (Refreshment Centre) whose staff was not cold. This journey lasting four hours gave a glimpse of India with graft episodes that were vey much visible on table and here monitoring would clear the dust and rubble. India for one needs an experiment at introspection, would this pay off give the greedy enough cushion?  On Other Side India's Agriculture Sector Raises Stirring Notes And Here We Need To Salute Farmers Who Float.

Devotees on Friday who visited Tirumala (Lord Venkateswara Lord Govinda Temple) the figure stood at 73,358, other figure being 41,900.
