Travelling through Triambakeshwar to Somnath via Dwarka got me dollops of goodies and that too at a reasonable price. If it was the search for Mysore Sandal Soap that saw me cover a distance, the search for sweets in Kolkata was quite handy.

It was the gold coloured Lord Venkateshawar idol from the vicinity of Lord Triambakeshwar temple which was a prized possession. And here i failed to acknowledge the role of a man coming with a family who prodded me to take it.
In the past kur kure for rs five and ganne ka ras for fairly less i could lay my hands on in Triambakeshwar. Looking for the fame Mysore Sandal soap, it was the search lasting for over one hour and this finally led me to a shop near the temple on the left side which had plenty of them.

This time round Dwarka had one gentleman carrying peanuts on a cycle and ever ready to hand change whenever i asked for. Somnath got me the honey and peanuts i desired.
Here the STD booths never failed to croon and despite minimal traffic the booths remained opened for long hours.
Apart from Somnath Trust kind enough to let me stay for some days the diligent exercise to maintain round the clock security could not be underestimated.

Ahmedabad saw me take the Hanuman Camp ride; the best day to visit is on A Saturday.

Ajmer has some of the best kachodis and further in Nathdwara the milk's thickness has few parallels. The prasadam procured from inside has a wholesome flavour.
Kolkata has the sweets and enough of soaps coming for as low as five. In Hati Bagan the Divine Cyber Cafe has the least rates and there are some around B B Ganguly Street that are equally good. Oranges come cheap and looking for veg rolls the road adjacent to goenka college has some handing out.
In Puri, the Khaja (five rs apiece)from a panda selling right opposite Lord Jagannath's idol should be tried. Not to be left is the aloo parwal kassa outside.
