Guruvayur railway station has a charm of its own
It is a spiritual centre that prods you to stay for a longer duration. Hours can turn to days and days to months if accommodation is a fun. Guruvayur for all its longevity vibes sends you to a cakewalk opportunity if you have beliefs that hurt none sensitivity. A visit to Guruvayur station is a must if you are past all functions that have been celebrated as a fest.
The approach to Guruvayur station is flanked by trees; thick in growth and keeping sentiments afloat. Under these very trees one can take a breather and take a view of a station that has no multiplying sensation. Sparsely populated at any point of time, it is the enduring wait of autowallahs that shows how it has been able to keep its shine. There are not many sizeable platforms; platform number one handling the arrival and sizeable ton. AS you go past trees, bountiful in spread, there is another spiritual centre on the right side and on the left few metres away are atms and other cbms (confidence building musings).

THere are no scarcity of lodges and beverages. Soda Sherbat is a rage here and so are the private buses that are much in craze. Better option is to try govt ones that start from West Nadar in ton. Chavakkad beach should not be missed and so should be the visit to Elephant sanctuary.
