THe ride from Nizamuddin Station to home

THe ride from Nizamuddin Station to home

Having reached National Capital from Tirumala, the collection of people at station suggested not many trains had come to their final destination. Having ascended and descended the stairs with a degree of success i looked for an auto that won't tear. With a pre paid slip in my hand i slipped in an auto whose driver seem to be someone who hadn't ran. The man who was supposed to take me in his auto to my destination was not comfortable with the fact that there would be just one passenger in the entire journey act. Apprehensive over not getting others on board he drove at a speed when some others could get in the moving boat. He looked left and right though he never displayed losing road sense and sight.

From Ashram we turned right and ascended the flyover from where the autowallah had no other option than descend. Railway tracks were below us and here he wanted to create no ruckus. Once down the flyover, the auto went past different towers; some built with painstaking labour and hours. Past markets and other targets, there was a sizeable sprinkling of private and public transport on road.  Some looking settled and some on float. Some of those settled in personal vehicles looked unsettled; some being driven by them and some by those employed again by them. UNsettled  and disoriented for the fact that the vehicle they had taken on loan could make them reach destination where they could easily roam. Equally unsettled were some in public transport including auto. But given the consolation given by the autowallah that he won't charge extra and would take his sweet time to take them, the one settled in auto looked to be all clear to give unsettled look a veto. On time i reached home and autowallah again set out in search for occupant more than one which he would make them board and roam.

Against this the other rides in the national capital have revealed the unsettled nature of some occupants; marked by extreme weather and extreme creatures. Rains are not to be seen and the clamour is high so that most could beam. One ride in DTC the other day showed the vigilance staff entering and exiting the bus after checking the tickets and those who were heading to destinations to pay cess. Days on which i did not find climate conducive enough to step out i stayed inside and waited for a mithaiwallah who seem to be on a descending clout. His descend seem to suggest that the withdrawals that his near and dear ones were staging from his locker were tearing him and fearing their backlash he was ready to hand out big denomination cash. My conversation was too little to explore his agony and pain and the conversation the other day with Thomas suggested i had something to gain.  Thomas suggested we need not be bogged down by drivers and other perpetrators in the colony; time would be ripe when we would be able to stand in the balcony. THomas was of the view that weather by no means suggested we put on heavy clothes but there is one anchor in mumbai who is out in tie and coat. Out in a tv studio where he floats the glow on face suggested he has put in some effort and some moisturiser and that has made him a truly tv creature.

These have been the days in the national capital when rains are not there and some trying to fix their gear.
