While leaving the station road in Deogarh there is Kailash bhojanalaya. As one moves towards Jasidih there is Narayanan dental clinic. This is followed by

In Jasidih railway station the refreshment room has among offerings
- paneer chilli 55rs, bhojan rs 22
- anda curry, anda chowmein, ubala anda, omelet
- idli for rs 10, sada dosa, masala dosa
- tea, coffee rs 5
- platform 1 has  baidyanath caterers with 150 ml chai for rs 3
- Kinley sada pani for 12rs.  (hard to find 1 litre mineral water for 12 rs elsewhere)

The train for Puri left after half past One in the afternoon.  A word of praise for Krishna Prasad newspaper vendor in Asansol.
