Unlawful, Unwarranted And Unforgiving Is Russia's Invasion Of Ukraine; This May Spill Over To Russian Leader's Courtyard As Well

The multipronged attack on Ukraine has shown the West Intelligence spot on and the invasion that would invite retribution of sorts.  Governed by a logic that is sick Russian leader Putin is traversing a path that would bring unending spell of pain and suffering. He should have looked inside, inside his country/courtyard and construct a narrative that would not have allowed his economy to get hobbled, ameliorate the suffering of his people far and wide and instead he went on to lead aggression against Ukraine for no fault of Kyiv. Right from Kviv to Lviv to Kharviv the places are being bombed with an understanding that entire Ukraine would fall at Russian leader's feet but that is easier said than done. In the city of Kyiv tens of thousands of people are holed up in subway station and with no food and water they are at receiving end and for how long they can hold is not known. The Russian leader is making the Ukraine people live the World War II moments and his interpretation that he was left with no choice cut little ice. The casualties on either side would be hard to count.

A Russian leader with blurred vision. A Russian leader with expansionist designs. A Russian leader who thinks his clinical invasion would make Ukraine resistance fall apart. But from no angle this is no clinical intervention as there would be resistance from quarter after quarter. Bring Kyiv to its knees and oust Volodymyr Zelenskyy Govt and put in place a regime that is puppet and puppet to say the least may be the intention of assault. The Russian leader's strategic foray would be in doldrums in the coming days given the fact that he may be able to oust the present govt but to have control over entire country would be a tall order.

A pared down opposition across country won't happen.  Clandestine are Russian leader's motives and underestimating the undercurrents of antipathy towards Putin the uncertain template is what Ukraine would have to live with. Kyiv may fall one day but to have a sway over the entire country with 44 million people would make the Russian leader understand that this is impregnable fort not easy to bring down. How long the attacks would continue no one knows but one thing is clear the Russian side is in for a long haul and annexing Crimea in 2014 doesn't mean he would have the same amount of success as the two operations are entirely different. The aggressor has shown his sinister moves are meant to unruffle the world but he doesn't know that retribution is in the pipeline with sanctions kicking in and untold suffering of Ukraine people may spill over to his courtyard as well.
