Saturday that i spent in Dwarkadhish
Having been to Byet Dwarka on a Thursday with heat in no mood to abate, the to and fro ride accomplished on a vessel that didn't encroach upon a territory that had among its belongings the likes of a castle. Friday was different as it was spent in visiting Dwarakadhish Temple on foot, something that had revelations in form of truth. Later a search on foot that could yield little as far as set of key chain and Mysore Sandal Soap was concerned and this was no means an act displayed by galoot.
Saturday i left the bed by 3 am and little later left the guest house in search for black tea. No sooner i had left the guest house i was amidst a bunch of dogs near Hotel Shreeram whose barking made me turn around. As i walked half a mile or so there was another bunch of stray dogs pulsating with anger and fury and they set their sights on me. I ran with full force and for almost 30 seconds they chased me barking to their strength. Soon they fell silent and withdrew and by Grace of Lord i was able to come out of this predicament. I took a seat next to Hotel Wisnu where a young boy who was part of Hotel Wisnu staff gave a lesson or two on how to deal with stray dogs who were bent to outmanoeuvre me. I was shaken and stirred by dogs attempt to pounce on me as i had done little anything to shake their moments of glee.
Little after 4.30 am i took tea from Naranbhai Tea Centre and a tea centre next to him i would have relished to have tea from there as well but it was closed at that point of time. I returned to guest house and little later recited Sunderkand. By 6.30 i left for Dwarkadhish Temple. I stayed there for a while before returning to Guest House and later left for railway station in an auto driven by Mr Eashwar. On the way i had the opportunity to go past Geetaben-Harsukh bhai store where Geetaben was at the counter. In all the days spent and miles travelled in Dwarkadhish and beyond gave ample evidence of honesty and people swearing by it and residents steady enough to withstand unbearable weather and remained round the year fit. The strength and reservoir of blessings they drew from Dwarkadhish temple was all evident round the year doubling on occasions like Janmashtami and Diwali when the town would be bursting at the seams as devotees from across the world would troop in multiples.
The stay in Dwarkadhish was for three days with enough occasions to have conversations that dwelt from weather to acts of wisdom. There were fewer occasions when polls and related postings the residents of Dwarkadhish town were bothered about and this showed enough synergy in their acts that were far away from something akin to a poll bout. Poll enthusiasm has diluted and somewhat withered away and so would be true for contestant who are undeniably in the fray. These roadshows and road rage these polls were witness to, the timing of the next poll would give you and me the necessary clue.
A special word of appreciation for Chief Priest of Nageshwar who is different from the one i came across last year and this time during my visit to Nageshwar the Chief Priest was helpful.
Somnath Online Darshan
In Somnath Onlline/Live Darshan no volume is coming. This issue should be addressed at the earliest so that devotees are able to watch the different aartis during the day.
