25 Paise Ka Samapan Samaroh by Puneet Rajhans

25 Paise Ka Samapan Samaroh

As the CBI-controlled RBI as desired by Central Government decided to do away with 25 paise in all shapes and sizes, this is one move that clearly spells govt's doom. Well the central govt, housed in New DElhi, had already done away with 25 paise when all its departments functioning, non functioning and some making attempts to function gave clear cut instructions that no matter what the circumstances are there won't be any transaction involving 25 paise, and with this all floating and feasible doubts had been set to rest that its very circulation would be a thing of past. It is the govt of the day that is to be blamed for its repulsion to 25 paise resulting in the visible govt declaration that the order to its ban has gone beyond suggestion.
Those who have been to states of Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Andhra pradesh, Karnataka, West Bengal, Orissa and other far off places would recall that the 25 and 50 paises are still in acceptance-cum-circulation. This stems from the fact that these places have a sizeable crowd of vendors, single screen theatres and day visible and night hidden operators who take pride in doing high value transactions involving these very 25 and 50 paises. Some would argue that how could it be high value transaction when it involves 25 and 50 paises. Well these transactions are honest to the prime and that explains the high value shine.

Places like Rameswaram, Kanniyakumari, Tirunelveli, Madurai and Trichy in the state of Tamil Nadu have shops demonstrating boardings that the xerox begins at 35 paise and for the price of Re 1 three papers can be xeroxed. In the very heart of Bangalore you can have xerox in the same range.Same is true of other two tier and three tier cities/towns. How they are going to cope with this Govt's farman isn't clear at the moment. The explanation from the govt side could well be that when the food inflation is touching 15 per cent it is entirely absurd to continue with 25 and 50 paises.

In the very heart of the national capital which lost its heart and soul to pursue a greedy battle, till 2009-end the University Special buses had student passes coming for Rs 12.50. This U-Special pass with this price tag had been a prime attraction since early 80s and heavily pursued for years close to 30. Once the Govt Order clearly stated that the Student Pass won't come for anything less than Rs 100, the very govt intent began to surface. Well the govt believes in high value high rampant transactions and this order has a lot to do with Citibank's Shiv Raj Puri high swindle efforts that had a telling effect on high net worth individuals. To clear the cobwebs and set the record straight, the govt order enables the swindler masters to carry on with their operations with high net worth individuals which by no means would have a chillar and chilling effect. The 25 paise blanket ban is one more rampant move of the govt to stay away from the aam admi firmament and clearly state that it is playing for big stakes and at this stage can't afford to let chillar rock its boat.
The next govt order would be a blanket ban on 50 paise and the bus operators repeated refusal to accept this since 2007 has set the stage for a govt order
to take the form of new economy order. After all chillars are meant for third degree economies which most of the zombies believe the country has gone past with most citizens on a least desirable fast.
